I used to access via proxy as well but ended up setting up Firefox so that it does not load images at TGT and all other gambling sites. I keep Flash enabled because some sites used it for bet placing.

A bit tricky to get used to at the beginning, but at least it doesn't scream procrastination!

if you can't get on at work try Opera USB on a memory stick, this seems to get around the security where i work quite nicely.

easy one this as I do this at work

have outlook running, folders on the left split screen of your right, see below

Now just resize internet explorer into that screen that says happy holi in the example.

Also in IE you'll want to to go into tools, advanced, and under multimaedia sub heading untick show pictures. All the TGT mast head and avatars etc dissapear. Lot easier to do some reading and if anyone casually looks at your screen it looks like its just an email.

    Have fun :-)

I also work VERY hard as you can tell :-P

unticking show pictures is easiest but then afflicts all sites ...

adding 127.0.0.1 media.thegamblingtimes.com to your hosts file would do the trick without affecting other sites

Also, in Firefox, just put the mouse pointer over the banner and click the right hand mouse button to bring up the context menu. From memory, in Firefox 3 you choose the option 'block images from media.thegamblingtimes.com' . In Firefox 4 you have to choose 'view image info', and the 'block images from media.thegamblingtimes.com' option is halfway down the dialog that appears.

None of the above works any longer for me it seems.

Tapatalk is good for cruising the forum on my phone, but that does not help with chat

Chat is shite via the main page on a mobile, any suggestions, of making life easier on a phone, or beating the works proxy?

Post #16 still works for me, I just checked!

Edit; ahh.., I see you were talking about bypassing you workplace proxy server not working any more. (Googling for 'bypassing transparent proxy' might help, but I'd advise against getting creative about bypassing your employers IT policy in case of repercussions if you get caught)

Try accessing the site via an anonymous proxy server such as https://kproxy.com/index.jsp
