    Safe-For-Work version of TGT

I spend some (more than some) time reading the TGT forum when I am at work, but the big red boarder with the bloody great big GAMBLINGTIMES makes it a bit of a hazardous affair!

Is there anyway there could be a very plain interface to the forum?

Seconded. Been thinking about this for a while as I like to keep an eye on things and have the chatbox open most of the day.

Yeah good idea - there are other forums where the user can select their display preference.

Also, some of the ladies in the office "cackle" quite loudly all day, is there a way to quieten them down a bit when I am trying to concentrate placing a four figure bet?

If you keep the chatbox open and scale the site so you can't see the logo then I think you will be find. It also helps if you are quick with win+d and alt+tab. However a safe for work chatbox does not sound like a bad idea.

This whole site is blocked for me at work. Probably due to having the word 'gambling' in the url. Does anybody use a proxy or anything like that to get on at work?

Any time I try getting onto a proxy site at work, they are blocked too!!

EDIT - I do actually work very hard an don't have time to skive off all day in the chatbox. But would still like to be able to take a quick look over the forums/place some occasional bets when on lunch etc. With summer finishing and all the horse racing being during the day, I am missing out on opportunities to make money

Someone on here did make an unofficial TGT proxy. Let me dig around and see if I can find it for you.

Edit - it was not up. Sorry!

Maybe you could just block the TGT masthead at work so it's not so obvious with some adblocking software? I don't think there's a way to change the 'theme' though either (or another way would be to view the 'archived' version of the forum... IF we used that feature ).

To be honest though maybe it's best just not to use it at work if there's a chance you'll get sacked as a result, probably not the best time to become unemployed right now (is there ever a good time?!).

On a lighter note... reminds me of something I saw on Click the other day for playing games at work...

Can't you see I'm Busy! - Home - Play at work without damaging your career!

Just had a quick look at the Breakdown game (basically involves breaking down all the words in a 'document' with a bat and a ball - like how the 'bat' is the vertical scrollbar!).
