    'Signatures'

A certain poster has taken to adding the content below to all of his posts. Is this really necessary?

I do understand irony but do not need it repeated ad nauseam.

PLEASE REMEMBER THAT "THE GAMBLING TIMES" IS A TRULY FANTASTIC PREMIUM MEMBERSHIP FORUM.

I DO NOT UNDERSTAND THOSE PEOPLE WHO TAKE OFFERS FROM "THE GAMBLING TIMES" AND POST THEM ON EVERY OTHER NOTICE BOARD THAT THEY CAN FIND.

    PLEASE:

    "LET'S KEEP TGT PRIVATE"

The person in question has been on my ignore list for some time, so that is always an option. But I do occasionally get subjected to a quoted post of theirs and agree that the signature text is excessive... what makes it more annoying is that it's clearly not sincere (anyone been to rpoints recently?!).

I don't believe in putting anybody on my ignore list.
All those that have already posted useful info are appreciated and those that haven't may do so in the future.

Theres a lot of people on AP sites nowadays that I think talk far too much and actually have nothing useful to say. People who just ruin offers for the majority by bragging, talking crap about them and hassling CS, all following eachother from one offer to the next like destructive sheep. TTs not one of them.

I dont lke this thread tbh, if you dont like the length of signatures then its a finer-point about the forum in general

Why is anyone posting in this forum? There are those who contribute regularly, or at least as best they can, and that is the point of a forum; give and take. As ever in life there are those who largely take, who are effectively leeching off the 5% who make 95% of the contributions (That figure is a complete guess, and it's, if anything, less than 5% - see here; The Gambling Times - Members List ). Those who have no intention of making more than a token contribution have no right to complain about another's contributions imo.

I understand the irony of someone who has only managed 99 posts in almost 3 years of membership finding that the best they can do is to de-lurk in order to publicly complain about someone else's very regular contributions interfering with their lurking, and who doesn't even have the balls to name the person directly. I'm talking about you; kwazulunatal.

I freely admit that I haven't posted enough drivel in this forum, if in fact that is the measure of a members contribution.

But then again, I don't hijack other posters contributions to add unneccssary extra t & c's to try and gain extra thanks LIKE TARTANTIPSTER

TT seems to be borderline obsessive compulsive, and also one of the best contributors to this and other forums. If you don't like what TT has to say, ignore it BUT don't try to tell others they should ignore it too.

I happen to agree with TT on this matter and have posted several times that offers on a semi private forum should not be repeated on a public forum, unless by the OP who found the offer. Common sense really !

Maybe if offers didn't keep finding their way to MSE, more contributors would post the offers on the forum rather than discuss them in the chat. Anyway I'm sure TT doesn't need my defence and probably doesn't care what you think, probably far too busy making money
You just need to ask yourself one question, do you feel lucky punk?....... Well do ya?
