TGT Ratings and Reviews
Who writes the reviews?
The reviews are written by several independent sources who have a long term history of gambling online and have a lot of experience and know what is what. They are paid a fixed amount to write each review and they can say whatever they want, it is an honest and accurate reflection of what happened to them in practice when they played there. They give a suggestion as to what they would "rate" it on a scale of 1-10.
Some of the "reviews" were written as long ago as 2009 so are now very out of date. We are currently getting people to go through them again and at the end of each the date the review text was written will be displayed so it is clear when that information was correct.
What determines the "Official TGT Rating"
The ratings are kept much more up to date than the review text and it is based on a number of factors. Things such as the sites website, range of markets covered, quality of the odds, customer service levels, bonuses and promotions, payment times/costs, are all taken into account but it is ALSO deeper than that.
We look at things which may not be obvious to casual players who have just turned up and seen the site, we try to check where possible the sites financial stability, who are the owners (or affiliate staff) and what is their reputation like in the Industry, has any "Sister" sites failed in the past or are any "Sister" sites particularly good, where are they licensed and regulated, how big are they and how long have they been in operation.
What determines the "Members rating"
We ask TGT Premium Members to provide feedback on each of the sites they may have played at recently. They rate each site out of 10 for each of:
- Bonuses
- Payouts
- Odds/Limits
- Service
- Website
Those scores are averaged over each members and so you can see how well a site is regarded for each category. If a site is 8 for bonuses it may have had four votes in total, two at 7 and two at 9, which is why it says 8.
ALL those total scores are then also averaged together, and this gives the overall TGT Member rating, so if for example it scores 8 Bonuses, 6 payouts, 8 Odds, 6 Service, and 7 for website, it would get a score of 7.
Because sites change over time the member ratings will automatically expire after 6 months unless they are updated.
Ratings can only be made by TGT Premium Members who will see the option to "Rate site" on the pages bottom right corner.

What is the "Total rating"
The total rating is the median score of the "Official" TGT rating and the "Members" rating. It is them both added together and divided by two to give the best overall and complete picture of a site.
What if I want more information?
Below each review is an option to click for "Bonus chat" which will link to the forum and display the latest discussion on whatever the current TGT bonus available is. For financial information there is a link to the forum "Payouts" thread where you can see the latest information on how long it is averaging to get paid, by which method, and any applicable fees.
