I am not sure about this, must admit I didn't use that feature at all or wasn't aware of it, are you talking about the 'Todays Posts' link on the menu? That should still be there?.

The old feature has started working again now that other sticky has been removed - but I will remember quick links in future. For me it's a matter of habit - I occasionally mark everything as read, then want to go back (e.g. to poss reply to a post), so "posts in the last 24 hours" will pick up something that was posted yesterday, if you see what I mean

Found a small search issue....stick this into the quick search and it only searches on "bonuses":

I'm guessing it is the forward slash that is causing the problem.

I'm not sure if we can do anything about that, it will probably be a vbulletin 'bug' ( 'feature' ) and not something we can do anything about unfortunately. All I can suggest is use tagging (I think I must use tagging about 98% of the time and 'normal' search about 2%!).

That said tagging is still sucky, ie you can't search for all posts tagged with partybets AND gamebookers at the same time. Also a shame they don't have personalized tagging so that people can just tag things however they want in a way that's meaningful just to them so they can then bookmark just their tags say, and not worry about diluting the tag cloud with random crap. And tag search isn't ideal for searching for specific posts inside very long threads of course.

Apparently the 'report chat' function doesn't work on the chatbox, which is a shame... you missed some gems!

Oh, and those bloody icons () still all look the same to me!

Other than that, the new site seems to be working well. My compliments to the webmaster.

Have had a read and this doesn't appear to be covered.

I use chrome and had a full chat window as well as the board index as a couple of the tabs that open by default when I open chrome.

Since the upgrade these have not worked - chat fails altogether and board index goes to the site index.

I changed the links to the new addresses (http://www.thegamblingtimes.com/boar...o=view_chatbox & http://www.thegamblingtimes.com/board/forum.php), but I think they may get redirected or something automatically - any ideas?7

Yes the report chat functionality is not great unfortunately. Will probably be turned off until it's fixed by the plugin's developer.

I can't see that problem in my version of Chrome (which admittedly is maybe a bit old, 10.0.648.151), I can see both the links you posted OK in Chrome. Only thing I can think is it's an extension/app you're using or it's a new version of Chrome that it's not working in, is there any way to disable all your Chrome apps and try it? I'm not sure how you do that off top of head, also version you're running would be useful to know.

Tried that and no joy, but just now I changed the settings, but rather than overtype the 2 tabs that were causing issues, I just had all the tabs I wanted and hit 'use current' - that seems to have done the trick.

Scrolling banner is quite distracting. Any chance of making it static and smaller? Maybe vertical on the left/right hand side of the screen?

The ads are still work in progress, have to see how it goes, it is still under discussion though so your opinion will be noted (actually it has stopped scrolling now already I think?). I'm not actually working on it so not quite sure to be honest.
