Killing VBulletin gumpf at bottom for chat should be fine I expect, unless they insist it is displayed as part of the licence that has been the case before. It will get looked at though and if it can be removed, it will be.
It cant as per license terms ... I went with chrome's stylebot and it just autohides the three DIVs now.
I would really love it if the tapatalk plugin was re-enabled please for reading the forum on the iPhone
This was the only forum of interest to me that had the plugin, but the app was well worth buying for that alone when on the move looking for new posts etc as it saved me having to fire up the computer
The site displays very poorly on 1024x768. The entire content can fit on a page but there are red bars on either side of it which add nothing and push the content into the middle and the right edge can't be seen. I don't mean to sound negative on what looks to be a very decent upgrade but it does bother me a lot.
Please can we have back all our 'Subscription Folders' & 'Subscribed Threads'?
I'm afraid the best we can do with this is to manually fetch a list of your subscribed threads from the old database but the folders would have to be recreated yourself, I will PM you about this (if anyone else wants their subscribed threads then PM me as well).
This ties in with another of the issues above - that of links in posts which point to threads on the old forum. You touch on it here:
EDIT: Also, when you click on an 'OLD' subscribed thread link from your private/personal external email address it goes to a completely different thread altogether.
This issue was looked at last night so should be working at a pinch, if anyone wants to test it out - try and find links within old posts / PMs that link to old threads on the forum and see if they redirect to the new threads. They should redirect OK for the majority of cases although there are a few issues (for example where more than one thread have the same title).
But TT if you want to help with that, the list of URLs I will give you of your old subscribed threads will have thread IDs from the old system. When you visit them they should redirect to the new thread IDs on the new system. If you can look at that that would be useful (or don't worry about it). I will PM you the list now (if I can get it from the db that is!).
Another similar issue is to do with post IDs from the old system not redirecting to their associated post IDs on the new system, that hasn't been looked at yet though.
