Look I'm sure we all know the reasons, they have been discussed at length enough times but maybe a small orderly debate here?
The forums are now are not what they were - hell they are not even what the reinvigorated rpoints is currently (since some of the MSE oldtimers moved there under Tartin's leadership). No one find it odd that we still don't have a thread for 138Sungame? Or many others - or even a post on the bloody Hills mobile freebies on the England games? And yes I'm as guilty as everyone else on this front - but here's the thing -if no-one cares enough to share then in a community no one will share.
Its really telling that NIN came back in the last week and posted about 5 offers, most of which had been around for a little while that no-one else had bothered to add to the forum - a year ago when he left we shared this stuff in the forums - now we largely don't seem to - or only start a thread after something has already been discussed for days on chat.
So it is not a little sad that we no longer post any new interesting SUBs we find or even post much about new exisitng offers we find. Seems more and more that info is either occasionally scattered into the mire that is chat (and lets face it wading through 14 archived pages of discussion of who TB/Shark is this week or DD related rubbish is not much fun). We don't discuss much (yes I can live without 10 pages of MSE related is it SNR or here is a really obvious question that I'm going to ask anyway but no discussion or ideas about how to play an offer is a bit of a shame) about them anymore.
Its been a gradual decline, greatly hastened by the MSE closure/non closure affair although it is bitterly ironic that it has co-incided with the huge hike in premium member fees to those who have not been here for a lifetime (or it sometimes feels that way lol) but I'm finding it sad nevertheless.
And yes the pm network I'm sure is working nicely but once upon a time this site was a community of people who helped each other out and shared information in an easy and archivable fashion. Now we don't and I think something has been lost.
I'm not critisising people's decisions, I'm not complaining even
I just miss the old TGT....
