Her amount will be small I would guess, that is what they do, pay a small amount out, string everyone along for a bit longer while they do god knows what. I see at companies house there is another firm called canbet with the same people on the board. No idea what that is all about but noticed it when checking the address for the legal claim.
Gonna cost me another £50 then another £100 after that to first get them to court to reveal what they have got and then £100 more for a third party debt order to freeze their accounts if this is the option I go for), in case anyone is interested in how going down the ccj route and wanted to know how that can pan out, will have cost you about £60 upwards depending on the size of the debt to issue the original small claims county court action. There are other options too once you have got the judgment but I've not really worked out which is best yet. Sadly I expect their accountants and lawyers know all this stuff all too well and so will have them set up against it all. There must surely be plenty others taking action? Reading all this shit about it all is winding me up a bit too. I've never done anything through courts or the like so just have to treat it as an interesting learning experience and try and take something positive from it all.
