Nice to see regualtors etc doing such a good job. It dont matter as long as you get your money eventually???? Being made to wait 2 weeks is a joke - and there are people waiting over a month and still being fobbed off. Anyone would think they were funded by the bookies or something!!!

Been waiting 5 weeks now, I told them I will go to their office personally to collect if I don't get my money. I am emailing at least 3 times per day but only getting one email per week from them saying they have IT issues. This is the 21st century isn't it .. why are they dealing with payments manually? Why are they still allowed to trade?
I hope you are all writing to your MPs (assuming you're in England/Wales - I dunno if Scotland + NI are affected) to ask how this new legislation requiring any bookie with UK customers to have a UK license is going to help anyone or anything, when Canbet, with a UK license already is taking the piss in this manner?
These lot are still allowed to trade because no one has actually taken the action to issue any type of winding up order yet. I have it from a good enough source that these proceedings will be under way shortly (obviously will avoid it if they just pay the guy issuing the proceedings) but yea I think they should be dead and buried soon enough.
Annoying for me as I hadn't touched them all year and got a tip from someone on coming back from Thailand that "Canbet are paying promptly again". Just my luck lol but least someone else dealing with the winding up procedures so I don't have to.

Cue standard party line response letter. If you're lucky they might write the the regulator for you as well (despite you having already done so with no reply). To be fair though actually if that happened you would probably stand a good chance of getting paid very quickly so it's actually not a bad idea if you're really stuck.
Maybe being a tad harsh on MPs, mainly on the back of my frustration of complaining about something completely different and getting fobbed off... with these kind of things where regulation is involved though it really is a stretch if you actually get anywhere because (in my completely unqualified opinion) the lobby groups that work behind the scenes often have far too much power compared to the regulators (and in some cases to all intents and purposes they are often one and the same - or at least involved in a revolving door / symbiotic relationship which certainly doesn't benefit the consumer).
