Pokerstars £100,000 Freeroll (UK & Ireland)

Could be fun if as many TGT-ers as possible go for this.

It's a freeroll but you have to qualify. If I understand correctly there are two ways to qualify:

- Either finish in the top 150 of one of the free daily qualifiers (7.00pm & 9.30pm)

or

- Simply enter one of the daily $1+.10 qualifiers

So worst-case scenario is it'll cost $1.10 to get a seat.

The final is 7pm on Sunday 2nd August. First prize is $10K but obviously I'll be winning that so the best you can hope for is $6K for finishing second.

Anyone up for it? Could be fun to do a running chat on TGT whilst the tourney is running?

I just won through the freeroll qualifier - top 150 went through and there were only 650 entrants so I just played pretty safe. Hope to be about to chat during the tourney Fella.

Its possible Pokerstars won't honour any cash, if you make the money after stating this. It has happened before.

Played a freeroll qualifier tonight (first time I've been around & remembered to join).

You're only allowed to enter one freeroll per week apparently (so worth entering one asap then you can probably fit in another one if you don't qualify). Mine only had 306 entries so it was easy-peasy to come in the first 150.

I missed playing in last night's 7pm free roll by about 2 minutes and there was no late registration. So I spent the $1.10 and played in that tourney instead. There was 97 players and I....... WON!

Woohoo! That is the biggest tournament I have ever won I've won many sit and go's before, but nothing with nearly 100 people in it

I won a whopping $20.64

So now my skills are sharp and I'm ready to kick ass tonight... or I just blew all my luck and I'll be out first

Joined 10 minutes late & had almost zero chips

Everyone except 2 ppl on my table was sitout & the two who weren't had been merrily sharing blinds between them (taking it in turns to fold) at the speed of light whittling down everyone's stack to nothing. Went all in & lost. O well!

Just barely made the money, finished 5908 for $5

Last hand I had JJ vs 99 and he caught his 9. I could be gutted but, hey, I sucked out earlier when I had KQ vs AQ and caught a K on the river.
