Dreadful tourney for me. Butty never turned up so I needed 9th or better for the league (only 17 players).

Unfortunately had junk all night & play was tight everywhere so by 9.55am we had 14 players, most of us with our original 2500 chips & blinds already cripplingly high.

Finally got KJ, was folded to me so I went all-in hoping to build up a little. Unfortunately bubbles in the BB had AT & called. Board came Axxxx to leave me in last.

Couple hands later ended up all-in with KJ vs K4, pot about 850 chips. Of course the board came 4xxxx & that was that. Gutted at tonight's tourney, would have had a better chance if I didn't show up.

Well done Butty on the overall win, well deserved. Thought eaustin played well all summer too, would probably be my tip to win the next league if there is one.

Couldn't make it tonight, first one I have missed in ages. But my wife and I went out for a nice meal and a movie. The movie was free (The Soloist), the meal wasn't but ooooh was it nice Lovely chinese buffet with the best starters around.

    Hope everyone had fun!

The tournament started badly for me and I was quickly down to about a grand... I then got desperate and lucky at the same time. I manage to take out bella and after that the plan was to fold myself to a mug. I calculated that I needed to finish 6th or better to do that. Thank god I hit a few good hands because it now seems that I have a total of 45 points in the league. Rudloph finished 8th so he earned 3 points and will finish at 43 if I am not mistaken. I didn't factor that in to my calculations so I am a bit lucky that I finished 3rd today.

Sorry to Rudloph though for stealing the mug from right under your nose.

Only my second appearance but v enjoyable.

Only criticism would be the blind structure, but I suspect that may be out of TGT control.

The problem with such a quick blind structure is everybody ends up all in virtually every playable hand after the break as the stacks are not high enough to put in a calculated raise.

    Just a thought?

I think I did enough though, didn't I? You leap-frogged me into fourth place, but with my three points for 8th myself and Musicbox are tied for fifth on 43 points (and he's already got a mug)
