    pokerstars evening £2000 freeroll

    Hey,
There is a nightly freeroll on pokerstars with £3000+ usually for grabs
I came 7th out of 4000 two nights ago. Shipped and got sucked out on twice in a row, sucks as I was in 3rd place.
I won £70 in the end. Has anyone else had any luck with this? Anyone got any strategies?
I'm in the mindset that gambling early on to try and get a chip lead and then tightening up and playing standard tournament poker seems to be the best options. I've placed 400th and 7th and gone out twice so far from this approach.

Trying to double/triple up or bustout early is generally a pretty good strategy for freerolls so you're probably doing the right thing already.

i like to play mad loose early in free rolls gambling for stacks in an effort to gain one. limping late on with many limpers is good too.
    good result tho
