This Sunday by popular demand we have arranged an "Omaha" Poker tournament as a bit of variety to the normal "Texas HoldEm". This is being hosted at ChiliPoker and it is available for registration now, once logged in simply select "Tournaments" then "Private" then it is listed as "GamblingTimes Omaha Showdown". Registration is just $5 + 50c and ChiliPoker have added $100 to the pot already so it is going to be a good value game and hopefully lots of fun too. PM myself or any moderator for the Password.

We have been practicing Omaha PL at a few cash tables to get to grips with the basics, put simply it is Texas Hold Em but you can pick two of four cards in your hand to use. But ONLY two cards, being dealt three of a kind wont be worth three of a kind you can only use it as a pair, unless one is dealt as a community card but then you have three of a kind NOT four of a kind. You get the idea.

Whoever has the most FPP points at Chili as the tournament starts and is registered to the TGT affiliate account gets the buy in to this tournament refunded, for reference as of this moment that is "Nin2k" on 150 so thats the target to beat just now.

I haven't played Omaha Hi for a while, but I play a lot of Hi/Lo and so I think your description is misleading.
If I am correct you MUST use 2 cards in your own hand, and only 3 of the community cards.
This is significantly different to Hold'em - but this a MUCH better game IMHO!
