TGT Spring Tournament VIII - Wed 9th March 19:30 $5 buy in

The password is "firefox". Hopefully it will be this password from now until the end of the League. As this game is not a freeroll it is unlikely we will be swamped with people not from TGT looking to get in, if that does start to happen then the password will change each week and be available from any moderator.

To find the tournament it is in the lobby, the details are:
Tournament #224275254 (16/02/11 14:00 ET) "TGT Spring League - Tournament VIII"

I could not actually see it in the lobby but a search for it (Go to "Requests" at the top bar then "Search for Tournament by ID") and it came up. Yet AGAIN I also had to download new software and YET AGAIN there is absolutely no difference whatsoever. I think they share staff with Itunes.

It is a $5 tournament (actually costs $6 to register) and there is NO buy in.

For details of the League please see here:

Any other questions and/or to discuss the game please do so here, thanks.
Have a plan and stick to it

You need some luck, nobody has ever, ever, won a Poker tournament without a bit of luck along the way.

You did really well Bristol, at one point you just had 240 chips left, amazing how you got yourself back into the game after that.

I was really lucky pulling out the 9 of clubs on the River on that last hand, thought it was worth the gamble.

Good game all round really, just over 2 hours play which is a nice amount of time.

Yes I think not having the rebuy made it better.

    Well done tgtslm!

Unlucky BC, really thought you was going to win from nearly being swallowed by the blinds lol.

First time i've played in over two years and would have been happy with fourth at the start, can't believe I went all in out of position with 99 and an average stack. Andy must have wet himself laughing! Still, I quite enjoyed it.

    Agreed.

Much less chucking it all in early knowing you had a second chance.
