This Seasons Poker League will hopefully be held at William Hills Poker site. They use playtech software which is fairly slick and although there are still a lot of Poker sites out there after FullTilt went under we hope that using a large UK based brand will be a safe bet.

They have a agreed to start things off with a Freeroll to gauge interest and hopefully get a lot of people to sign up and participate. If it is a success then we will be able to have regular tournaments here and will play weekly. If it is not then never mind, no harm done and we will keep looking for somewhere else.

If you are an existing William Hill account holder then you can simply download and open the Poker softeware, log in, select a poker alias, and then register for the game. It is found via the left panel "tournaments", then "Freerolls" then it is listed as "TheGamblingTimes" on the main page.

The tournament is eligible to be entered by all TGT Premium Members, simply send a PM to a moderator to recieve this.

This is now in the software and can be registered to. You can pick any WillHill alias you like but it is usually less confusing if you keep it the same as your TGT fourm name, I am xAndyTGTx

To register just go to tournaments, then freerolls, then it is on the right just click on it and register. PM myself or any Mod for the password.

This sounds fun, I have never played proper online poker before - is this texas holdem poker (sorry for the noob question)
Also, if I play this, will it stop me from being able to claim the new player poker bonus at a later date do you think?

Yes Texas Hold Em.

No I dont think so the current Poker New User bonus is awarded on your first deposit and you do not have to deposit to take part in this. (It is not very good anyway it is only released as you play and you have to play a very large amount to unlock it.)
