Default ChiliPoker $10 buy in, $100 added, 8PM Thursday 25th Febuary

There will be a few weekly tournaments running at ChiliPoker, all on Thursday night at 8PM. $10 buy in. There is only going to be four of these so not enough to set up a proper league but we will have one of those running as soon as these four are over this is just a stop gap really.

PM a moderator for the password, or it is included in the E-mail which will be sent out to everybody registered for Poker notifications. Please dont give it out though (its unlikely this would be gatecrashed but the principle is the same please dont give out the passwords ever).

It is in the ChiliPoker software now under "Tournaments" then "Private", it is called "TGT weekly GTD". For reasons not made clear you cant register yet but have to wait until 8PM tonight!

If you dont have an account yet please register via this link:

Goodluck

Registered & Ready! I am looking forward to this one.

Also I see it is possible to go back in with a re-buy.

Default $10 Rebuy

Hope it all went well.

Are there any changes people would like for the one coming up? Or were the blind structures and chip stacks all okay?

Default That demmed, elusive Pimpernel

hello my little dumplings, would one of you kind sirs be a very gentleman and send me the pastword?

i can only afford nhs glasses and not those fancy do dah ones from posh glasses places that are all about these days, but your title suggested $100 added but from what my grandson jack says it is a $100 guaranteed?

the print on these moden tv screens is also to small to read, so i guess i will have to buy a bigger screen to read them, but jack says that the front part of the information says $75?

is it a frenchie site? it is about this time of year that the new vino from last years harvest is being "tested" by about most of the country. oh they do love their vino but it has to create a shortage of french fries if they are not available to make them?

Quote:

Those Frenchies seek him everywhere.
Is he in heaven?—Is he in hell?

I don't think the re-buy is a great option. I don't think most people even knew about it last time, I'm fairly certain that only one person did the reload.

Can we ditch the re-buy please?

Default Rebuy or not to Rebuy?

I can change the rebuy option. I kind of like the 1 rebuy option, to make it a Second Chance event. I will wait for a few more comments to judge the general consensus.

hello my little angel cakes, my grandson jack has thus spoken "you normally have rebuys in omaha tournaments because other players can more easily get their nuts through the back door"

being a VIP member of the WI, i used their wonderful website to research omaha (they have topics of eveything that a women needs to know about to run a modern day home) and i quote

"omaha is a BNP meeting down the local curry house compared to holdem which is CAMRA at the local Real Ale pub with clean pipes.
WI official tactics for the Christmas family game of poker for omaha state play it very tight and as always try to have the nuts in your hands. If high priced buy in then freezeout, if low price buy in then rebuy. Low price rebuy allows drunken Uncle Mark to make many rebuys that will pay towards the cost of feeding him and especially the drinks he has consumed."

so my little cherubs the WI suggest keeping it as a rebuy

could the forum moderator PM me the password please?

Boo! There goes my all-in-on-anything strategy! But I suppose as this is supposed to be a friendly game it wouldn't be nice if I won an all-in very early on anyway.

I am out tonight celebrating my daughters birthday by getting nissed as a pewt so good luck to all, you won't be getting my money again tonight. I will struggle for the following 2 Thursdays as I am on nights each of those with a 7pm start. The last one planned I think I'm good for which gives me plenty of time to practice.
Oh one last thing. Is it me or does anyone else think Aunt Fanny is bonkers?....LOL

Yes, that's true pumpkin - but this isn't Omaha it's Texas Cold-ham so you don't need anything in your hole, OK?

If at any time you have less than 1500 chips (including zero) you pay another $10 for another 1500 chips.
If you have completely bust out you only have a limited short time to re-buy (e.g. 10-15 seconds) - you can't sit & watch for 20 minutes then join back in!

I think one rebuy is fine. You dont HAVE to use it, if you are good then you wont need to use it, and if you do want a second chance then it is an option. Just the one though? Because unlimited rebuys can make it silly I think.

Only 20 minutes to go & it still says unlimited rebuys in the lobby...
I agree 1 is sensible & fair - gives the fish a chance against the sharks!

To be fair its just my opinion and I dont think he would be able to change it with 20 minutes notice, we can see how unlimited goes just to see what its like then if their is a consensus opinion after can change the next ones.

I know I've said it before - but I'll say it again - this software is CRAP!!!

Apart from anything else, the chat is a joke!
I had to re-type long sentences loads of times just because I said words like Fanny, Quim and crap.
I mean - is this site for over 18's or not?
You hear worse than that on Radio One in the morning!

And I tried to chat on the other table - but it wasn't allowed. WTF???

And when I got knocked out I couldn't even say Good Game!

And there's so many other things wrong I don't know where to start.
Hard to believe this is powered by PlayTech, who have great casinos.

I do appreciate the $ Chilli put in - but honestly, can't we try to find somewhere with software which belongs in the 21st century?
