Guys I need your help please (sportingbet)

    Hi guys,
I really need your help. I have been screwed by Sportingbet.com - Football Betting Online - Sportingbet.com and this was a very important bet for me.

Yesterday I placed a big wager on a golf match, a 3 ball bet involving Wilson, Webster and Shwartzel. My bet was on Webster, odd 3.00.

After the 8th hole Wilson retired and Webster had a better performance than Shwartzel so I won my bet.
If you read sportingbet rules It clearly says that if a player retires after he starts clearly the bets are regular.

Here is the link to a screenshot where you can clearly see that bet was placed BEFORE the event and the odds are regular, were almost the same all over the web.

I was first told that I had a losing bet, then THEY asked me for a scoreboard to see the results and THEN I was told that odds were wrong because they had to be readjusted because Wilson had retired. The fact is that Wilson retired after 8 holes NOT BEFORE THE MATCH.
They are clearly screwing me, this was a very big win for me, I don't know what to do.
I am asking for your help, maybe you can contact them.
If a mod wants my username just ask and I will send it by PM.

    Thank You!!
    Bye

I would reply to them and quote the relevant section in their rules:

    2-Ball/3-Ball/4-Ball Betting
Winning bets must select the player with the lowest score over the specified number of holes.
In the event of any player not teeing off all bets will be void. Once a player has teed off all bets stand regardless of whether they subsequently withdraw or are disqualified from the tournament.
Explain that all players teed off, so according to their rules all bets stand and the bet shouldn't have been voided.

I don't know what anyone on this forum can do for you unless it's related to a signup offer you're doing via TGT - you might have more luck speaking to Alderney gaming commission who regulate Sportingbet (obviously only after you've exhausted all avenues of enquiry directly with Sportingbet).

Good luck, let us know how it goes... Andy might have more advice maybe.

I would do want munk said. If i had a close contact there I would contact them and make sure they get the info to the correct person, but i dont there. I would just email them and explain everything. Make sure you state that all 3 players tee'd off. That is the key to this. I dont think they are taking that into account. They are acting as if he didnt, which would have changed the odds.

Thank You all guys..I really appreciate it...

I have sent them 3 emails, I managed to have the email of a supervisor I think (that is what they told me), the email had the link to official scoreboard where it is clear that Wilson retired after 8th hole and a reference to their rules..I wait until tomorrow afternoon for an answer...

Thank you again, I will post here if there is any news..thanks in particular to andy for the email!!
