I'm making a mess here but here is Slim Shadys answer
Last question = if the draw is included in AH - why not just stick it at Barca -1.5?

Here is why:
Whe you see a handicap that has 3 possible outcomes it is an European Handicap (EH). With an EH, you can still have a draw after the handicap is applied.
So with Barca -2 (EH) then if Barca win by 3, you win. If Barca win by exactly 2, the -2 EH DRAW wins (since, when you subtract 2 from Barca's score the result is a draw). If Barca win by 1, or draw, or lose, then the Mallorca +2 (EH) wins, since when you add 2 to Mallorca's score, they will have won in all those cases.
However, at Betfair there are only 2 outcomes. This means that it is an asian handicap. With Asian Handicaps if the adjusted score is a Draw, they refund your stakes.
Therefore, if you bet on Barca -2 (EH) and lay Barca -2 (AH) you could be in big trouble. If Barca win by 2, you will lose th EH bet (since it was a draw after adjustment) and push the betfair bet (since draws after adjustment are pushes in AHs)
