I'm wondering how the hell you deposit. Got a message telling me to send documents and that (I think) the deposit didn't go through. Waited a few days now with no reply so just tried again and got the same message.

Assuming they haven't taken the 2 deposits or I'll be rather annoyed (especially as my balance is 0)

    I did it via UKASH.
They had an offer on of deposit £100 and get £100 bonus.
But to withdraw out you have to wager the deposit plus bonus x 3.5
The way its going think I'll get this first before busting out.
But have heard of some bad charges when requesting to withdraw back out.
To be honest it was bad enough depositing, as I lost £'s in currency charges

LOL! classic! i was thinking when i read the post that surely there are loads of ways to bust out .. but if not the WR isnt that much anyway so as long as you are wagering over 1.75 (i think) you should complete it within 3 or 4 bets.

Jono: As for arbs at IW these can be on any market. I dont have any money in there at the moment but if you ever see a 1x2 arb its worth checking IW to see what their price is.... Incidentally i set up my IW account in euros to get the bigger bonus but as Runcy says the conversion of each bet form € into gbp was tiresome so once i had no open bets i penned them an email and they allowed me to set up a new account in GBP and they transferred my balance.

    hope that helps!

A word to the wise: Jaxx odds seem to be the same as Mybet odds. Why am I telling you this? Because Jaxx don't seem to be on any odds comparison sites, but Mybet are on betbrain.

I've just placed an arb and only gave the odds comparison a quick glance to see if it was inline with other books. Had a closer look and my odds are 4.33 and the next closest are 3.50, is this palpable? I think it looks alright but just want to clarify.

I normally stick to smaller arbs but decided to go for a 2% return this time :-).

The most obvious palpable errors are when they mix the odds up - say mixing up over2.5 with under2.5 - that kind of error is usually pretty obvious and a good indication to stay well clear. Hard to say if yours is palpable without looking at it

It might be a bit late now but it could be, but its not likely. It depends WHICH bookie it is as much as the odds difference. Also it might be that every book was 4.33 five minutes ago, its just they have readjusted quicker than yours. Comparing odds to the other books is only half the story. I think that would probably stand though.

from my limited experience and never having been palped thus far * clammers to touch everything wood in the vicinty * the palps are normall obvious and on under over markets as already mentioned. A trader deciding that Team A has a 4.33 chance of winning at 1 book whereas everyones Traders think it is only a 3.5 chance isnt palpable... just stupid!... unless they know something everyone else doesnt? How did this turn out anyway? surely you can spill the beans now the bet is placed and possibily settled?
