Anyone know if the VC Casino sign-up offer is do-able? Was thinking of taking that up and using the wagering for the wlecome bonus to qualify for the Cheltenham freebet but going by the t&c, practically every game I know how to play (Baccarat, BJ, Roulette etc...) aren't allowed!
Without wanting to contradict the 2 most helpful and knowledgeable guys on the forum:
Dear Mr T Bruce,
Thank you for your e-mail.
Yes, I can confirm that you are permitted to open more than one account
with Ladbrokes. If we can be of any further assistance, please contact
us again and we will be more than happy to help you.
I did a very thorough search of the T&Cs and could find no reference to not being allowed multiple accounts, so this would square with that.
I can only assume that they attempt to link your accounts and apply the same limits across them all anyway.
If you could add your original question to them in your previous post that would be cool although no matter really, imagine it was just 'can i open a second account'?
Well that's interesting, although I still wouldn't be tempted to open a second account in my own name in an attempt to get around limits or claim a second lot of intro bonuses... this same issue came up on the bluesquare thread as well... my advice was the same there - at the end of the day sure go for it if you feel comfortable with it and understand the risks, but understand they are well within their rights to withhold payment if you're seen as abusing the second account either for extra intro bonuses or to circumnavigate any limits on your old account.
I dare you to email back and get them to confirm that you can open a second account to obtain the latest and greatest bonuses and have all your wager limits reset?!
I stand corrected
Have a plan and stick to it
hi all, I've a freebie €10 SNR bet for Paddy Power that expires tonight but I'm struggling to find a match at high odds (above 7). If anyone spots anything decent today could they please post here.
I haven't check any of these are still available, but here are some to look at:
Man City v AaB HF/FT
returns 82.5% (GAME ISN'T UNTIL THE 12th)
Sheff Utd v Blackpool CS
Betfair and Daq 12.0
returns 79.5% (GAME ISN'T UNTIL THE 10th)
Fullham v Blackbur CS
returns 78% (GAME ISN'T UNTIL THE 11TH)
If you need something that is played today:
Rangers v Hamilton
STARTS IN 35 MINS (3pm)
Cheers, thanks for that slim.
I have got myself really confused with some antepost betting and wondered if someone out there could point me in the right direction. I am used to betting on the horses but antepost has really stumped me.
I foolishly left four lay bets queeing on Betfair for the odds I wanted and the odds have shifted a lot in the opposite direction. I presume that if my lay bets remain unmatched by 10am tomorrow then they will be cancelled? They are all on the Supreme Novice Hurdle on Tuesday. They are as follows:
A lay for the Will Hill BOGOF - i figure that I really have to get this matched on the antepost otherwise I will potentially lose my freebet if the horse is a nonrunner. Do Betfair pay out on non-runners on both antepost and day of race lay bets?
Two lay bets for the paddypower offer - probably do need to get these laid on the antepost market - or can I wait until day or the race market? I am really regretting having done this offer as I don't think I have fully got my head around all the possibilities. My lay on Cousin Vinny is matched. It is my lay on the two horses that I backed at Paddypower that is not matched.
One lay bet for Bluesquare bet basket qualifier.
Apologies for the rambling message. Think I will give antepost offers a wide berth in future until I have fully got my head around it.
The long and short of it is - if I back antepost - do I have to lay antepost or is it OK to lay on the day of the race (shifts in odds aside).
As far as I understand it from reading the 'rules' tab on the antepost market, all unmatched bets will be cancelled at the time stated (can't remember off top of head) and the market will resume as a 'regular' market. From there you can go ahead and place any bets you want as usual.
As an aside, if you did have liability on the antepost then that liability will be shared with any further bets you place once the market has turned 'regular' (ie after it stops being antepost). (EDIT: although rereading it just now it looks like the liab from antepost doesn't get carried on to the regular/day market BUT winnings/losses on the antepost do get offset against winnings/losses on the regular/day market).
You make a good point about the WillHill freebet needing to be layed on the antepost market though or else it will be 'lost' forever if the horse is withdrawn... thanks for that I was going to wait until much later to lay it fully but will rethink that strategy now you've mentioned that! Cheers
EDIT: Just FYI the antepost for the WillHill freebet race closes at 10am tomorrow (you probably know anyway but thought I'd post anyway!). Thanks again for the headsup, I'll probably try and lay this all off on the antepost just in case the horse is withdrawn... although I suppose another strategy is to just lay enough to cover your loss on the qualifying bet on the antepost, then when the market turns regular try and lay off some more if/when the price drops.
Thanks Munk. Have decided to lay the Will Hill bet in full on the antepost. Means I will make £5 less than I was hoping but at least it is assured.
Do I understand it right that Betfair will pay out a lay bet if it is a non-runner if it is antepost but not if it is a normal lay bet?
I think I am going to just lay the Bluesquare qualifier bet nearer the time if it doesn't match at antepost.
Now all I have to do is get my head around the impact of leaving the Paddypower lays unmatched at antepost at Betfair and matching them later - god my head hurts!
