just realised, the market only has to cover my lay stake, not my lay risk. Thanks for the advice anyway!!

Do any of u wiser heads out there have any advice as to how i can do this bet? PS Ladbrokes won't let me wager part of the £100 free bet, i must place the whole £100 in one bet.
Cheers
If you're looking at football, HT/FT and CS markets like jat suggested are good for longer odds to place SNR free bets. You can usually find a good match by looking on bestbetting.com.
You should be able to easily find an arb, don't accept a loss with ladbrokes because they do have some of the most generous odds around.
I would look at horses at ladbrokes if I wanted a quick turnaround... but you should only do it if you feel confident with horse markets. You can generally find arbs around 11 vs 10 on betfair at ladbrokes for horse races on maybe 1 in 4 races through the day... the liquidity will be better on weekends generally on the larger race meets.
@jas - sorry I can't help you with the handicap problem, hopefully someone else will be able to give you some ideas.

The bet i was trying for was:
-1 H, -2 H, +1.75 AH
I think you could if you split the stakes between the -1 and -2 in a ratio of 3 to 1 BUT i am guessing that really, have never done it, and it sounds incredibly complicated. Thats if you were trying to bet on TeamA -1 and -2 and TeamB +1.75 and end up with no Net position.
I might have completely got the wrong end of the stick though. Im not really sure what you mean by "The bet i was trying for", what were you trying to do?

OK - here is the example I was playing with.
Manchester Utd v Sunderland
Odds for team 1 -1 handicap were 1.6
Odds for team 2 +1.75 AH were 2.562
I needed to find a -2 handicap for team 1 but didn't manage it. I did find -2.5 AH for 2.369.
So the question is could i have used the -2.5 AH rather than the -2 HC?
Example working:
1 -1 £100.00@1.600
1 -2 £16.37@2.369
2 AH (+1.75) £77.59@2.562

Being brutally honest, i dont know. I dont think so because you would not be pushing the third -2.5 bet ever it wins or loses, but as i say, i dont know.
For that reason i wouldnt do those kinds of bet, if im not sure whats going to happen 100% I dont bet on it. But its because those bets you describe are quite complex that the arb opportunities exist and are lucrative because not everyone can spot them, so if you master it good luck to you. Anyone can see that a back of 2.2 on a team to win is higher than being able to lay the team to win at 2.04, which is why those bets/arbs dont exist or certainly last long!
I will make a note that in future i need some Asian Handicap advice to ask you :-)

From what I can gather, you wouldn't have been ok to use the -2.5.
My reasoning for this is, the -1 is matched with the +1.5 (as part of the +1.75) and thus you need to match the +2 with a -1.5, so that the sum of the two amounts to +0.5.
Still, would be nice for someone with infinitely more knowledge than me to comment on this. As it happens, I *usually* shy away from these kinds of bets, simply due to the amount of variables involved (3-4 bookies involved, changing odds at each, limits etc.)

let me have another go at this. I think that the logic should go like this.
There are three possible outcomes to consider:
1: team 1 win by 3 goals or more - needed for the -2.5 (or -2)
2: team 1 win by 2 goals - needed for the -1
3: any other outcome
1 by 3+ 1 by 2 Other
(-1) Bet £100@1.6 160.00 160.00 0.00
(-2.5) Bet £16.37@2.368 38.78 0.00 0.00
(+1.75) Bet £77.59@2.562 0.00 38.80 198.79
Total stakes: £193.96
Profit 4.82 4.84 4.83
So the only part of this I have been worrying about is the £38.78 if team 1 win by 3 or more goals.
This must be payed out in both the -2 and -2.5 cases so I see no reason it should not work

When you put it like that, yes looks perfect. I dont do those type of bets, i find dutching three bookies for just the three outcomes win/lose/draw enough! but i think if you master it you are onto a winner there.

It's a bit socially inept of me, but whenever I'm on a night out I find myself dashing home to the computer to find out what the Bulgarian cup half time results are.
For the sake of my social life and reputation, can someone suggest a free live scores site which will work on mobile internet?
