I put a bet on a football match for the coming weekend at a very nice price of 1.4. The bookie has since cut the odds to 1.2. I have not received an e'mail to say this was a palp. Shall I just carry on and lay the bet. Or is there a risk it will be palped. Any Advice welcome! Thanks
It depends what the market price was at the time you took it? Which book was it? What were the average prices for every other selection on the market at the same time (ie sometimes it's obviously palpable...).

I have to admit I've never actually had a palped bet touch wood... so I might not actually be the best person to ask...
End of the day if you're really worried about it and it's a very large bet, the best thing is just to ask them if the bet stands.
Thanks.365 The other bookies were offering around 1.2 at the time I put the bet on.
Bet365 I should imagine will honour it. Bookies cut odds all the time, that doesnt mean the original odds were Palpable, they just got it wrong (there is a difference). Palpable errors really mean when it should have been 2.2 and actually was 22 because someone missed a decimal point, or the odds on Overs/Unders were put in the wrong way round, it is that sort of common sense basic error which doesnt have to be honoured. Just overpricing a team early on is their tough luck, although some may try to then claim "palpable error" it is unlikely IBAS would uphold that sort of thing. Certainly Bet365 moving from 1.4 to 1.2 would have no justification and if it went to IBAS you would win I am 99% sure.
That was a very long way of saying you will be fine the bet will stand.

I'm new to match betting. Can someone help with what offers I should do next? So far I've completed expekt (~€35) and betfair (€30). Soon I'll have a float of about €300. I've read pretty much about MBing, dutching and underlaying. However, what I lack mostly is experience. I'm planning to do betclick offer next (they offer a €15 risk free bonus for my country). I'm considering doing bet24 and betsafe next (due to a fairly high bonus (as in %) and low WR) but which offers should I choose later? Provided I obtain 90% of those bonuses, I'll have a float of about €365.
Which bookie(s) should I join then? My priorities in terms of choosing such would be: a fairly high bonus in relation to the initial deposit (50%-100%), a fairly low bonus (i.e. €25-€50), low wagering requirements (preferably (D+B)x3 tops), and of course being a trustworthy outfit. Anyone know of such?
I'm sorry if a similar question had been asked before - that would mean I haven't searched for it long enough.
This chap has been going about a month, since mid August, you could do worse than follow that. He is from the UK though bear that in mind, and also even a month is a long time in this business so double check each bonus is still valid. He cracked £1k profit after about four weeks I think.
Betclick is a good one to get on your books. Bet24 are OK too. Are you sure Betsafe has a low wagering? Is it not 10x with lots of hoops to jump through involving multiples bets?
Overall 300 Euros is OK you can get going with that but re-invest all winnings until you have 1k I would recommend, then consider taking some out as profits. There is more to do than you will ever have time for, the main thing that will hold you back is capital.
There is a long list of bookmakers here:

The order you do them in is entirely up to you, and what is best for me would be different for you and different for someone else. There is not really a "best" order. Just join as much as possible as quickly as possible and hammer into everything that is infront of you and you wont go far wrong. If you want any particular help or advice on any particular offer feel free to post/ask about it on its existing thread or if one does not exist (search first) start a new one. Goodluck.

Thank you for your much informative comment. As for Betsafe, they have a better offer for Poles, whom I happen to be (much to my both amazement and content as the WR I have to meet is just 4x bonus, which constitutes 50% of the first deposit).
Casino - No deposit bonus
Please tell me any casinos that have No deposit bonus.
there's loads but most involve you jumping through hoops in order to withdraw any of the free money. Most involve you playing for certain period of time (1 hour) with their free money trying to win as much as you can, then you must deposit and wager a certain amount (usually ridiculous amount) to try and profit. Be careful I got done over here Blackjack Ballroom | Top Online Casinos Network with the Best 500$/€/£ Casino Bonus went I first started a few years ago. I'd recommend getting involved with Laddies, VCBet and possibly even jackpotjoy (for their little and often reloads) if your new.
