Andy thx for your reply.
I actually tried to back/lay my bet tonight and as you state
"If you are using betfair multiples to make your own accumulator and lay it the odds you see when it is a single bet are not the odds you lay at when you combine it there is a large spread."
This was absolutely spot on, my back treble at the bookies was steady at 8.82 but as I started to lay off at Betfair the odds were moving and by the time I layed off the 3 markets the odds were something like 13.2. I ran a country mile away.
Seems my little theory is just that and it doesn't work in practice so I'll just stick to the singles from now on.
On your earlier point underlaying is something I'm not completely comfortable with yet, I think that is something that comes from experience.
What exactly this be is?
It is basically a split bet with half your bet at over 1 and the other half at over 1.5. Some bookies call this 1.25, others 1 1/4, and others again 1.0/1.5 and so on.
If the bet settles at exactly 1 goal then half your bet will be graded as push (over 1.0) and the other half a loser (over 1.5). You would get half your stake back.
If there are two goals or more both bets will be a winner and you will get paid out whatever was displayed as potential winnings on the slip.
Ah ! Here you all are, does any one post any arbs on this board ?
Hello George, welcome to the forums. I've moved your post here from the Asian Handicap thread.

Oh, arbs are also posted now and then in the live chat box too, especially horse arbs when the arb may only stay around for a few minutes. This is an effective way of posting such an arb. However, if your question is will arbs be posted on the Asian Handicap thread, then no they shouldn't be posted there as that is for a particular methodolgy and not for ongoing arbs.
Aside from that, we also have a thread where new TGTers can post a "hello" if they so wish here: http://www.thegamblingtimes.com/boar...where-you.html
i recently deposited 200 to get 40 at Intertops bet it on a draw and layed it at betfair for about 800 and united drew against cska last minuite!!! i am now stuck with 1140 in intertops with a x7 wr but i cannot find any bets to try and bust out with as soccer only lets me bet 200 max and the american football doesnt have enough in betfair to lay! if i done 7x 240 for the wr because the odds are so small compared with betfair i would lose money on each bet
any ideas please???
If I did not have enough to cover the wagering requirement I would try asking Intertops if I could forfeit the bonus (you may have to forfeit some of the winnings)... I know beted allowed someone here to forfeit a reload bonus after they were limited to silly amount after the first bet won.

The last option is to grind through the wr and place bets of low amounts (or what ever you are allowed) on matches that you can do for no loss. If you have a Matchbook account you should find something, but it would take a lot of time.
thanks for the quick reply i decided to try and get out of there as quick as poss and do many max soccer bets at 165.00 each but then i noticed i was going to lose on each bet so i decided to underlay quite a bit on all the favourites so i could claw back a bit...... and nearly all the favourites in the spanish cup drew at home so i am down quite a bit now
i will put this down to experience but it has been a nitemare from the moment the mancs scored in last min to draw
Ok, time to admit it - made a boo-boo this morning in my sleepy stupour!
Placed the following bets at Bet12 and Pinnacle, thinking it was a good Dutch, but did not spot the fact that the Pinnacle bet was for Pk and +0.5, rather than straight +0.5.
Bet12 £185 @ 2.33
Pinnacle £238 @1.83 PK, +0.5
These bets are in respect of the Le Mans v Monaco match tomorrow night, so got a bit of time to correct things, but cannot for the sake of my muddled brain cells, work out the best damage limitation exercise. Cannot someone guide me please? Cheers....!!!
