Moneybookers VIP - deposit charges removed for all methods!

Just had this email through from Moneybookers and apparently they're dropping all deposit charges up until Xmas 2008 for payments by any method for all Moneybookers VIP members which is great news and means we can deposit via visa debit card now without paying the 1.5% charge.

Only trouble is the more money I feed into Moneybookers the more money is in there sloshing around waiting to attract a withdrawal charge if/when I do withdraw Shame they didn't drop the withdrawal charges as well...

What did you have to do to get a VIP account and what are the benefits? There doesn't appear to be much mention of it on the Moneybookers site.

I kept hitting my outgoing transaction limits so I just asked them if there was anything I could do to get the limits raised and after that they automatically gave me vip status.

The main benefit for me is just not having the limits though.

Hi,

I recently heard that if i gain Moneybookers VIP status i would be able to use my Credit card to deposit for free.

I emailed Moneybookers about how to gain VIP status but the reply was a bit vague so i was wondering if anyone on here has that status and how to get it?

Try filling in your details here:

Moneybookers VIP

They will give you a ring and discuss it but i dont think you are garunteed to get on it unless you turnover a large amount of £s with them already.

I dont have VIP on my account even though i turn over quite a bit (the reason why i dont would not effect you) so it is not open to all by any means.
