Anybody here place middle bet arbs i.e. bet on 1 at AH +0.25 and 2 at match odds? That way you get a return if either team win but make a loss if its a draw. I placed my first one tonight on my second Globetsports freebet. Gave me a £4 return if either team won but a £9 loss if it was a draw. Sure enough team 1 won putting me up £4. I'm not saying this is a good idea all the time but it makes using freebets a little more interesting and is good to use on matches that you feel won't be a draw (heavily one sided).
I do middles all the time. Mostly at prop bets. But ON mine, i have no chance to lose money most of the time, or a very small amount.
One book i have toomer -6.5 more yards recieving than williams at -105. At the other book i have williams +13.5 yards receiving at +100. So if i bet to win a 100 at both books, The most i can lose is 5.00 but if toomer has more yards by 7,8,9,10,11,12, or 13, i win 200. I usually find about 3-5 bets like this a week.

Yes is funny the first thing I thought of when I saw this thread was the betjoint thread where middling was first mentioned on this forum as far as I can remember anyway... very interesting concept... I should sort out handicapping...
