    Hi Gemma

Welcome aboard. I'm fairly new as well - I've been MBing for 4 weeks now and made £600 so far which makes me a very happy bunny. I have found globalsquares spreadsheet excellent for looking up offers:

    Happy MBing

    Hello,

There are many resources out there, and many people have written many guides. There is not a right and wrong version though, or "best" way to do it, everyone is different, everyone has different aims, everyone has different risk/reward ratios so what is best for you to do will be different to someone else. I would suggest you use the guides as just that, a guide, at the end of the day the profits are all yours, so you place the bets that YOU want.

Some people swear by using Spreadsheets to calcualte how much to back and lay (I dont have a link to hand I dont use them but I will PM a man who i know does) but i would caution against JUST using that. Use that as a guide of what to stake, but still use your own judgement of what you actually do.

Im not sure 100% what your question was, the spreadsheet type link posted above is a good guide for a large number of new site offers. There is a large list of bookmakers which are "safe" to play at here:

The Gambling Times - Online Bookmaker Reviews - Viewing all bookmakers

They may or may not have current bonus schemes in place but they all would have in the past and they have always paid winners in the past and are not Scams.

Every bookmaker is slightly different, so there is no one thing that can be said really, if you want specific help on any particular site/offer then if you first search for the existing thread in the Sportsbook bonus section then ask there, OR if there is not an existing one start a new one.

It is possible to make quite a lot of money, how much is entirely up to you really, the more time/effort you put in the more you will make. The over riding number one thing to do which nobody would disagree with, the number one top tip for someone new, is REINVEST THE WINNINGS. You can start with a small float of £100 or so, and making a few hundred £s with that is possible, but as time goes on you will need the earlier profits to get you up past the higher figures, so as long as you are sensible and reinvest early gains, the Sky is the Limit.
Have a plan and stick to it

    Hi Gemma and welcome!

If you have a look at the forum threads tagged with 'beginner' hopefully you'll find some inspiration from other people in the same boat who're just starting out.

Re matcher spreadsheets, lazza has a good workbook that includes a number of spreadsheets for different tasks. There's a few others posted on this forum or for a comprehensive list have a look over at MSE where there's a list of all spreadsheets in one place (should sort that out for here really!).

If you want one spreadsheet that basically does everything - ie keeps your accounts in order and makes sure everything is balanced up - have a look at 'Ultimatcher', it could be a good idea to use that right from the start and keep things tidy right from the beginning. It does include a sheet for matching as well so it's all good.

Here's the threads on the forum tagged with 'spreadsheet':

Good luck and good to have you onboard
