Admittedly I had had a long day and I had intentions to write lurkers but gnomers came out! Apologies for the confusion!

I pretty much only use US / US offshore books and I think this is the first time this year that an offer from a US website has been pulled for Europeans because of abuse.

(Spooky offer abuse is a slightly different story as it didnt come from the bookies itself but I think still due to the Eastern Europeans).

MSE posters, lurkers and gnomers have no impact whatsoever on these books IMO. Only a couple of hundred actually read the Youwager thread on there.

The idea that gnomers just sit around waiting for an offer to be posted on MSE is the naive view.

(Also I'd be interested to find out who these people are you know with hundreds and hundreds of accounts? I'm afraid that gnoming is a bit of a myth - having done it myself, I'm telling you that it would be nigh on impossible to create hundreds of accounts)
Offers are often killed by one person acting alone. My friend was the one who caused noiq to pull their bonus early recently. Pretty much every offer he decides to hit, gets removed or reduced as a result. Im not going to explain how he does it for obvious reasons. i could go into the detail of it, but it would not be a good idea for you or me or anyone

Sometimes of course it goes wrong and he loses large amounts, but more often than not he clears an obscene profit, and gubs the offer. He has also had a very large problem regarding his personal cash flow and finances situation.

As it happens, he is not a member here - he's young, lazy, a bit of a stoner, and when he decides to make a few quid, simply logs on to MSE, picks an offer, and hits it dozens and dozens of times over a few days, making maybe 10k or so, then he cashes out and spends a few more weeks on the bong before waking up and picking another unfortunate bonus to destroy.

Then there is the chap who worked in a bulgarian office with access to many ID documents... And the brummy fella with the very large extended family...

It's a shame people refuse to accept that this kind of thing is going on, as it would make people think a bit more carefully before posting on MSE.

If that is the case Spooky (and I'm not having a go at you in anyway here ) how do they expect people to hit the platinum level of points of 300,000? You would have to be betting like a maniac that was so blatantly unrecreational it's unreal and would flag you up like a lightbulb in a dark room.......

Don't think I'll be going back to any Cris books soon

Snoop I was just making sure you received message via email.
    All good.
Everyone is platinum that has been playing. The reason they are called loyalty points is just that. Guys have been playing for years. Even the small players wagering 25 or 50 per game are moved up to Platinum with their deposits and years of support. Obviously put the shoe on the other foot. The average player makes anywhere from 10-20 wagers per weekend. With hundreds of football games and soon with basketball starting up. There is not many that single out 1 game and play it. Even the high rollers playing tens or hundreds of thou per game usually play 2-4 games a day. It is a business they run. I am not singling you out or anyone for that matter. Its just not a subjective determination by any of the sportsbook to indicate anyone is "sharp" or not recreational. I stated this to everyone back in March and April that there will be changes happening, to an extent I was not even aware.

I am sorry you feel that way about the Cris books but they do set a precedent and many tend to follow. Same as with the bonus situation with MB and Neteller. Wish you luck and you know if there is anything I can do it is attempted. The possible I do, the impossible takes me a bit longer.

Best of luck. Sorry to intrude on the thread.

If they have their odds right then they must surely want people to bet. I remember from my poker days you get phrases like "Don't worry if they draw out on you, you had +EV and will win over time" - and so it should be with the Bookies shouldn't it?

I can understand a limit if they get over exposed on a selection but why limit a player?
Probably they think when a person is earning a lot of money that that person is better than their trading department so its better that person to earn money with another bookmaker.
