Matched Betting with non uk bookies?
Hi,
I have a question to MBers that use non uk based bookies. So far I have only tried bookies accepting GBP payments. My bank is going to charge me 2.5% on FX plus a £1.5 transaction fee if I make a payment in any other currency. that makes MBing a lot less profitable with these bookies. I guess others have found a solution for this, but have not found it personnaly.
Could someone please help me?
Thanks in advance
Alex

Have a read above there is some discussion of it above, not a lot around now though unfortunately since Nationwide ditched their cheap overseas transactions on the Flex account (I think there's the Abbey Zero credit card or maybe some monthly fee dual currency current accounts for overseas transactions like Citibank and Lloyds, don't know any details of those though but you should be able to find them if you check their websites).

I'm about to get a Moneybookers $ account and need to fill it with some $'s, which are all currently in Neteller.
My plan is I can get a $ cheque from Neteller for free, pay that into Citibank, then send from Citibank to $ Moneybookers with no FX loss.
Does anyone know if Citibank are ok with transfers to Moneybookers in $? I could pay it into Moneybookers by cheque or bank transfer to avoid fees.
Cheers

What I did was withdraw money from a bookmaker (pinny) where my first deposit was with neteller and made a withdrawal to my moneybookers $ account.
