You got lucky there but thats why i do it that way, isnt it so much more fun and they do come in sometimes and the profits make it worth while then.
You will have other £20 freebets like the PaddyPower one in the future, as someone else said in this thread you could aim to get £16 from it either way next time. But that is no fun at all. Each to their own, i aim to make as much money as possible as quickly as possible and enjoy myself doing it.
I still would, always have and always will say hedging the bet towards £12 if your wrong and £50 if your right (as you did using that example) is a better way. It is so much more interesting and fun and the £50 is a notable amount that you can do something with/notice. The difference between winning £16 and £12 is not really going to make much difference to my life/spending and really either is fine, its still profit. The £50 is going to make it a good news day.
RE Big offers / Small offers / Wait or Pile in, i dont think my advice is bad, i dont think BlowingBubbles advice is bad, i just think they are different. You do what you want.
P.S. You seem very adept at this very quickly, is someone helping you? How did you find the site by the way?
Have a plan and stick to it
I am getting a big helping hand Andy and coupled with a lot of luck at the moment all is well.
I was referred to the site by one of your regulars.
New User Update
I have now completed the bet baskets at BET365 and Boyles along with PaddyPower SkyBet and JAXX.
Today I have joined BET24 which is £30 after depositing £60 although you do seem to have to send ID to get the bonus. Live Chat told me 20 mins after receiving my ID they will give me the bonus though - So very efficient.
Also I have joined BetFred which would appear to be a very straightforward bet £50 get £50 at odds of evens and above.
They seem to be nice bookies for us newbies to start with!
Yes they are nice easy offers. One problem for newbies is that they can require a bigger float as Betfred is SNR (higher odds needed) and Bet24 has a WR. I see you've done both Boyles and 365 though so it isn't a problem for you.
