Partygaming (Partybets / Gamebookers etc) Inactive Account Fee
Just got this. Suppose I should read T&Cs properly!
Seems a strange condition to have. I'll just have to deposit and find an arb!
Our records show that that you have not logged in to your account for 180 days.
A £4.42 administration fee** has been charged to your inactive account. The next charge will be deducted from you account balance on: 08-Mar-2009 ET.
However, this fee will NOT be charged if your account, or any related account, is reactivated on or before 07-Mar-2009 ET.
Reactivating your account is easy: Just log in and place a cash wager, enter a tournament with a cash entry fee, or play a raked hand.
**TERMS & CONDITIONS If you do not access your Account by "logging on" to your Account using your Account name and password for any period of 180 days, then after those 180 days (the "180 day grace period") your Account (and any related account with any ESP) will be deemed "Inactive". If your Account becomes Inactive, then the Company is entitled to charge you an administrative fee (the "Inactive Account Fee"). The Inactive Account Fee shall be deducted from your Account Balance at the end of each calendar month in accordance with the Inactive Account Fee Schedule. We will stop deducting the Inactive Account Fee from your Account Balance if your Account is re-activated.
If you have any questions or concerns, please donít hesitate to contact us. Our Customer Care team is available 24/7.
Just wait for the NHL offer to come back. Will probably be tomorrow.
I've not done the NHL offer. I've not done any offers in general for a while so will have to look at this.
great marketing - they should entice people to play with some bonus, not with fee charge :/
Did you have a positive balance in your account or was it left dormant and empty? Cheeky fookers.... if they try that with me then I'll happily close the account....
They do it with everyone, standard Party procedure.

shit...can you elaborate on the neteller inactive fee? almost two years ago i helped a freind play and had a neteller account....he is useless and been out the country since...neteller account was locked a looong time ago for inactivity. There was £6-700 sitting their. Has this dwindled to zero??? I had always hoped i would one day recover the money (i.e. when i next see him in person)
I've got £100 in there. Well, £95.58 now! I'll be making an issue of this one! My wife has an account too but I think hers has been used more recently.

Other's to watch out for: Pacific Poker have some outrageous rule whereby they can take a chunk of you balance.
Crypto skins (i.e. Interpoker, WillHill etc) used to take £2 a month every month you were inactive. I lost my entire (albeit small) balance at one skin over the course of a year. Logged in one day & saw it had been whittled away to nothing £2 at a time. Of course I immediately cashed out from every Crypto skin & have hardly played their since so you have to question the wisdom of their policy.....
Not sure if the Crypto rule still applies or not (obv I never leave money their now....)
Final edit: Not super-relevant but since a lot of us do promos at sites that give away Amazon vouchers - be aware that Amazon gift balances expire! I earnt £1,000 of Amazon vouchers one year doing poker promos & put the lot in an account for my g/f. A year or so later (by which time she'd spent about £250) she logged in & her balance was zero. Amazon had stolen the lot! We went absolutely ballistic & got most of it reinstated but I've since canvassed lots of people who've had Amazon gift balances & none of them knew they expired (& several thought their balance had disappeared but assumed they must have miscounted or spent it & forgot.)
thanks for the useful info fella...appreciated.
I agree neteller are a digrace when it comes to fees....huge one's to deposit, to withdraw and then the currency fees. They are my primary wallet and as a vip fees are fairly heavily reduced but i'msure they still get their pound of flesh.
I read your post somewhere about amazon vouchers expiring and couldn't believe it....total sham. Definitely the kind of thing they would renounce if (like you) you challenged them with...shocking they hold this rule for the UK but not other countries. nodoubt a nice wee earner for them.
