Paddy Power warning - abandoned games
There was a poster at RP who had Murray to win 2-0 the other day. His opponent retired in the final set, and Paddy settled it as a loser, as it could not possibly have won, given the set score of 1-1. His lay was voided, leaving him seriously down.
This is unfair of Paddy as they were only settling voids and losers, and eventually they saw the error, and changed their tennis rules, and voided his bet.
However, the term is still in the football rules:
"All other markets will be void unless their result is already decided"
Admittedly abandoned games are pretty rare in football as opposed to tennis, but I for one would not feel comfortable matching a Paddy bet on correct score, double result, FGS, unders (you can't lose an overs bet before the end) etc.
