First post here but im a regular of sorts over at MSE.
My nugget of advice is always look for the best offers for the bookie your about to sign up to BEFORE you sign up. The amount of money i wasted taking £25 at Tote, Paddy etc is unreal!
I would start with Jaxx (as mentioned). Wouldnt really take £20 at Unibet as they have offered more so i'd hold out. Betdaq is an easy £25 SR but thats exchange against exchange so maybe not.
Other than that you can always do SNR bookies that allow you to split the freebets (willhill [wait for £100 at least], betfred or vcbet). These will be good practice and you dont need a big float as you can do the freebets in as smaller chunks as you want
There's a name I recognise from MSE! Take a look at:

If I recall correctly all of them offer a 100% match on your (rather small) first deposit, and generally do not put out far bigger offers (please correct me if I'm wrong here). They do have waging requirements, though, so ideally you'll want to bust out (which, as you'll soon see, may not be as easy as it first seems ).
Also, you can use free services like Matched Betting Assistant > Home and OddsMatcher : bet72.com Risk Free Betting to find close matches quickly at many, many bookies.
Well I think that's important enough to say again, always read the t&c before you start on any offer even if 100s of others have already piled into an offer.

Arguably it's a good idea to start with as close to nothing as you can - it will take a bit longer to get going, but you do gain bragging rights later on like... I started out with the betfair £10 casino bonus and from that I've made £17,000 in 10 months...

I've been doing this nearly 2 months and so far made £1100. Done Jaxx, Bet 24, Bet UK, Betclic,Betinternet, Bet365 & Boylesports & Gamebookers before Cheltenham. All fairly straightforward and started now to get reloads and BET 365 4/1 offer is worth looking at ongoing. Did some of the bigger UK bookies during Cheltenham (as offers are bigger) and made good money in the week.
Now doing Partybets ( as with Gamebookers use RAF codes) with Expekt next in line. Used football as starting point as suited my existing knowledge but horses easy to pick up as well.
Greetings smk. Havent seen you post for a while at MSE.

My piece of advice would be before you do any new bookie is to read as much as you can about them on this forum.
I am not a great writer on here but I would guess I read every page religiously before I outlay a penny anywhere.
And finally double check everything!
Take your time the offers are not going to run away.........make as much out of everyone you can.
hi and ditto on what everyone else said basically
no ones advice is really wrong as there/were trying to help ... just double check any advice on the sites etc before diving in
A fair few people are still kicking themselves for taking rubbish offers (coral and bodog are mine ) and others are more happy with piling in and get reloads etc
just incase i have had the odd random phone call from a bookmakers before but as i hate my mobile it stays switched off and unless the home phone rings twice i dont bother answering as everyone i know will ring twice.
When they have rung regarding something to do with my account they have always sent an email afterwards 'saying we tried to phone you etc' and i just reply back to that saying i wasnt expecting it and the phone was off, if they had said in the sign up that they were ringing i would have turned it on (the problem is then usually sorted out with in a few emails and no phone call).
How ever i am 95% certain i signed up to one bookmakers within the last couple of months that had an totally automated security thing they do by phone where you had to type a number in (had my mobile on for some reason at the time) - there will probably be a way to get that sorted when you get to it so i shouldnt worry and out of 50ish bookies thats the only one to have done that to me - really sorry but i cant remember who
oh yeah ... get a spare email address for spam/offers/reloads and dont use the same name in the forums as you use to sign up to the bookies just incase
Careful with Jaxx. It is now SNR and this money is now kept seperate as "bonus funds" instead of being added as a credit to the balance.
