    2-Way Handicap Matching Chart

Thought I'd post this here as well, seemed to go down ok at MSE.

Obviously, back/lay is on the same team, dutch is for both teams.

Download link here, if you want to add it to any spreadsheet of yours.

Great stuff pokebus. I'm still struggling to get used to dutching, this looks almost as useful as your grumblebus.

    so.....(stupid newbie alert!)

    - using the above chart ...

Man utd (+0.5) at odds 2.5 would be dutched with
Arsenal (-0.5) at odds 2 and this would be a nice little earner ?

-when Arbing/dutching asians , for simplicity to start out, look to bet on +1 for one team and -1 for the other ?

not sure i`m explaining myself very well - thanks for your tolerance !

Yes it would, to the extent that i would not bet on that because one will get palped If I see anything over 10% arb then i dont bet on it because the likelyhood that i have misread the market, the bet rules, or that there will be a Palpable error involved get disproportionately high.

Overall though those two bets do cancel each other out, by definition for one to win the other must lose, there is no full time score at the end of the match that will prevent one of those bets from winning and one from losing. Thats how i learnt it and still do it today really, close my eyes and imagine all possible results and if each happens where do i win and where do i lose and how much and is the totals at the end always higher than the total at the start.
Have a plan and stick to it

Yes that's correct - more than a little earner as well, I take it that was just made up numbers?!

That's the simplest way yes, if the result is a handicap draw then you'd just receive your stakes back since the bet is 'pushed'.

yes - very much made up numbers for simplicity ... though it was based on a greek match I found which was + 0.5 (2.3) and -0.5 (1.93) - wouldn`t touch it `til i was sure of what i was doing though......and now it`s gone of course.

thanks for the help - think it`s clearer in my head now.

and VERY wise words re 10%+ arbs !
