I have this same problem, ive verified my Visa Debit, still says my bank is declining the transaction.

Also, my account is in USD...any chance of changing it into GBP?

Are you sure your card have gambling/casinos "unlocked"?

What about you contact moneybookers to change your account currency?

Ok that's what I was after really, whether you'd gone through all the verification steps at Moneybookers... what do your bank say about this, why are they blocking the transactions? I think there are a few banks that dislike deposits to gambling related sites, perhaps it's something like that? Real guesswork though without asking the bank in question.

How would I get it unlocked? Ive tried to contact them via secure message but its down at the moment. Might phone them up but most of the time its like talking to a brick wall.

I did state it wouldn't be used for gaming purposes though.

What did you open it for then?

I dont think thats got anything to do with why your VISA card wont deposit the funds, but its still a strange option to chose. I ONLY use moneybookers for gambling (I think they mean gambling when they say gaming) purposes, I dont see much other point in having it.
Have a plan and stick to it

Just to re-assure them. Of course i'll be using it for bookmakers

Even then, they didn't accept it which made me more intrigued as to why they would have declined it, even when I said I wouldn't use it for gaming.

If it's Alliance & Leicester they have been known to block Moneybookers transactions. I went through a period where I couldn't deposit at all and phoned them up to be told they were blocked due to some kind of fraud, which sounded like crap to me (I think others posted on MSE the same thing). Then it started letting me deposit again for a while, but recently I'm getting the failed message. A bank transfer worked but is much slower.

Yeah im A&L too, that's probably why. Did you phone them up or what to get it sorted? Or will they just stop it full stop?

    Very annoying!
