Betdaq Trading Software
There was a thread recently on these boards about 'BetTrader', an application which uses the Betfair platform. I use this all the time when betting and only use the actual Betfair website to look at my P&L and 'what ifs'.
But has anyone used the Betdaq equivalents? There are four (presumably?) similar apps promoted on the Betdaq site - 'BetdaqTrader', 'BetdaqAngel', 'Betdaq Assistant' and 'DaqBot'. Anyone have any experience of them?
My balance in Betdaq is just stagnating. It is there as an emergency if Betfair suddenly goes down, but if the prices were the same at the Daq, it'd make sense to use those funds from time to time rather than always using BF and possibly roaming into premium charges territory.
I did try the Bet Angel Betdaq version a while ago. It was pretty much the same feature wise. I'd say it was the same for BetTrader.
Don't know about the others I'm afraid.
I agree about the use of daq in general. I did find myself using it a lot during Cheltenham, as I had so many bets in place at Betfair, it was useful to use another exchange.
Since then though, I've rarely used it. Until people start moving en-masse due to either a better offer from daq, or increased commission payments from betfair, I don't see it changing.
I use Betdaq trader occasionally, only because I haven't got Windows on my work computer and Betdaq trader will work on anything.
It's basic but has the ladder interface and it's free. I mostly use it for playing around pre-race whilst someone is boring the hell out of me on the other end of a conference call
I'm sure it can be put to better use, it's the liquidity that's the main problem.
