£25 Taken From My Bank Account By BetDaq?
i just checked my bank account balance and ive had 25 taken from my account by betdaq, ive never even been on betdaq?
any ideas what this could be, is this a serious problem or something else? the only bookies i am doing at the moment are vcbet, bet365 and bet-at-home
sorted out, it was betchronicle with a much delayed deposit taking.
If you play at Betchronicle you would be charged as if it was "Betdaq" on the statement.
Something I used to do at Casinos more than bookmakers where the payment name on the statement would never be the actual site name was to deposit random amounts, so instead of £25 I would make it £25.07, and withdraw £124.97 instead of £125 each time, that sort of thing so that way I could tell which payments had come in and where from that way rather than needing to use names which never tied up with each other.
That is/was a bit extreme and it was when there were douzens and douzens of transactions every day to keep on top of, but it did a job and stopped mystery payments just vanishing from my records.
Have a plan and stick to it
Another variation on Andy's tip is to use the pence to indicate what day you made the payment on, so for today make it £25.25 (for 25th). Only really useful if you're making a lot of banking transactions at a lot of different places to be fair though.
There are a few places that 'share' banking facilities as well, the 24hpay sites all use Entraction, 888/littlewoods casino/888sport all use Cassava I think, there are quite a few other examples (actually jenningsbet/mcbookie all show up as jenningsbet).
Best bet is to keep a note somewhere of where you withdrew from on what day and somehow mark that transaction as outstanding to indicate you have to check up on it in a few days to make sure it was processed properly. The ultimatcher sheet does that I think, I just have a spreadsheet with all banking transfers on that lets me see quickly which are outstanding - plus MS Money I mark outstanding transfers by putting a date one year in the future so it stands out.
I had the same thing happen to me. It is definitely BetChronicle!
