The thing is my betslip for IW says the match is on 25th and then they list their results for the 25th for what happened on 24th and the results of what in fact happened on 25th as the 26th.
If I go to sky sports and look up 25th results they have that down as results for 24th! Which I guess is their time and not the actual time of the match in US. Completely daft.
So I guess you need to look at games on the day before they day you actually want on IW!
Yes the betslip for IW was 25.08.2009 02:05 so I guess it was not the same game on BF due to BF the only sensible ones using the day the match actually happened in US.
At least I think I get it now.
But I think IW should use the date of the match in America.
Not always because some games start around mid day, so even with the time difference would still be on the same date.
I would stear clear of any book not listing pitchers if laying at Betfair as if one of the listed pictures doesn't start Betfair will void, IW won't
Yup, the IW will say the 25th because the game started on the 25th IW time and their scheduling on the site refers to using their timezone. That game would be listed on the 24th at Betfair though. Looking on IW now, they have 2 games lsited as starting on the 26th IW time and these games also start on the 26th in their local times in America. The rest of the games starting today in America correlate to an IW start time on the 27th and are lsited as such... that's just their system. As I say, your issue was compounded because with not having listed pitchers you culdn't spot they were different games.
Basically if you want to use IW to bet on baseball as a safe matched bet, your only option is to dutch with another book which doesn't list pitchers either.
All makes sense now.
