Betjam paid me to the wrong moneybookers account
I would appreciate any advice anyone can offer on the following matter.
I opened an account at betjam, using my UK GBP email address when registering. I then deposited US $ from my US $ moneybookers account.
When I came to withdraw I requested a payout providing them same email address that I deposited with - my US $ moneybookers email.
Unfortunately they paid it back to the email address I used to register with, which means I have received around $1.8k to my GBP account. This has wiped out my US $ float and also cost me about £22 in conversion fees.
Do I have a leg to stand on by asking Betjam to reimburse me what I have lost in conversion fees due to their error? I am suprised they paid it to an account that they had not previously received a deposit from.
Alternatively would moneybookers VIP consider changing the payment somehow so that it goes to my US $ account rather than my GBP account?
Cheers.

You have a valid point to complain, and Betjam should reimburse the loss in currency conversion incurred, but given their disgraceful attitude towards some of their european customers, you stand a slim chance of them acknowledging their mistake and reimbursing you.
Anyway, with nothing to loose (hopefully, if you have no balance left with them), its worth trying it
Re Moneybookers - they have to cover the conversion fees if they are to move the money from your GBP account to the US $ one, and I honestly dont see why would they agree to cover them, they`ve done nothing wrong here...
Goodluck with Betjam!

I had the same thing happen with SBGGlobal. I spoke politely to them on live chat and they said to contact them the next day at the same time.
I was just about to do it when they phoned me and said I had a 10% bonus on my next deposit.

I have had similar before at other US sites, they are terrible for it, I went to great pains to tell them what E-mail to send it to and they still messed it up and just did the address I registered with. I have not had the cost/fees reinbursed, I decided after one E-mail it was a battle I would not win and wrote it off. The lesson I learnt is to always always register and use just the one E-mail address.
Have a plan and stick to it

Lesson learnt.
Was thinking of converting my US $ back to pounds anyway as the offers seem to be getting harder and the baseball coming to an end.
Ill try and email as I have no funds there anymore so nothing to lose.
