Someone at MSE has posted that Tipico have recredited their €100 bonus following a complaint to the LGA (Malta).
Well I've just had a nice result on the Tipico front.

After I read the above thread you linked to doomed, I decided to contact Tipico again and try and get the 100eur bonus they'd taken out of my account added back again.

I sent them a simple email saying 'can you confirm your complaints procedure, I want to complain about the missing 100eur' on 9th Jan 2009 and received a standard 'your request will be passed on to the relevant department' reply immediately.

On 20th Jan I still hadn't had a reply, so sent another email to tell them I was going to the LGA so they could look into it. Today I finally got around to thinking about this complaint to LGA and so started writing something....

HOWEVER when I went into Tipico to get details for the complaint, amazingly I found the missing 100EUR in my account! Bizarrely it had just been deposited about 8 hours ago today... it's showing up in the transactions statement as 'Bonus on deposit', so obviously the bonus they'd deducted earlier!

Icing on the cake - put in a withdrawal request for it and it was back in Moneybookers within the hour!

So... if anyone had the Tipico 100eur bonus removed even though they completed the wagering requirements properly, it's worth contacting Tipico again about it.

Cheers for the heads up doomed.

Good news at this end to regarding getting the bonus back at Tipico. I sent a letter to the LGA on monday afternoon just basically saying i had wagered enough money at Tipico to withdraw and unlock a bonus only for it to be taken away from me once i had completed the wagering. I sent them a screenshot of the terms and conditions and a screenshot of my Tipico statement. A few hours later (to my surprise!) i received an email from the LGA saying that they had contacted Tipico and the ball was rolling so to speak. Good news i thought, even though i didn't really think i would get anywhere.

Yesterday i sent an email to Tipico asking them what the correct complaints procedure was as i wasn't happy with the excuse they gave me last time and i wanted to file a complaint. The following email arrived this morning:

    Dear xxx,

thank you for your e-mail; the Lotteries and Gaming Authority Malta (LGA)
informed Tipico already that you lodged a complaint re bonus.

Indeed the bonus has been deducted from your account when this should not have

been done. We have now re-credited the amount to your betting account
"xxx", you may use the amount for betting or request it for payout.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused. In case you have any further
    questions kindly contact Tipico directly.

Sure enough i've just logged in to my account and the €100 is there which i have just withdrawn back to Moneybookers. Good news in the end and i'm obviously really happy to get this money back. Just waiting for it to hit Moneybookers now.

All done and dusted within 48 hours so if anyone else out there was in the same boat as me it might be woth doing something similar.

Thanks to all the guys who have posted recently in this thread stating that bonuses were now starting to be paid out especially munk who did a little break down of what he did.

Congrats gaz, don't cross post though please (posting the same thing in more than one place), I've deleted the other post on the Tipico 100eur intro bonus thread.

    Cheers mate.

Sorry about the double posting. Just thought I'd make people aware in the Tipico thread in case they didn't visit this section of the board that's all.

Yeah thanks... no worries it's just if ppl start talking about it in two places it gets confusing. Might be worth mentioning though in the monthly email out to Premium members, will try and remember to mention it to Andy when it comes around.

Brilliant result though, I had the same the other day, completely out of the blue. Thought I'd have a random go at complaining and before I'd even said anything to the LGA Tipico refunded the bonus and withdrew straight back to Moneybookers.

Just had my €100 re-credited today I'm pleased to say. Firstly I wrote to them asking them to reconsider their decision to remove the bonus or I would complain to the LGA, but they replied that they wouldn't budge. So I wrote an email to the LGA yesterday and today I received an apologetic email from Tipico and €100 in my account. Sweet.

I just received this weird email from Tipico. It must have been a mistake that they send it out to me:

    ACHTUNG: Testkäufe / Jugendschutz

    Sehr geehrter Vermittler,

    Dieter Pawlik
    Rechtsanwalt
I know too little German to know exactly what they're talking about but seems that some lawyer is maybe warning Tipico of the possibility for minors to bet on their site or something like that, which is against the law.

I had this too and ran it quickly through the google translate. I did not spend a whole lot of time reading it when I realized it was not relevant to me, but I think it had something to do with the gambling monopoly in germany and with betting shops. They claimed something how minors are able to place bets in shops but maybe they are not able to do so online if they had an account with tipico... or whatever.
