Tipico have been removing their bonus and cancelling withdrawals.
This thread refers to complaints made after users have had their 100EUR intro bonus removed prior to withdrawal despite having completed the wagering requirements:

Consider it this way:
How much "bad traffic" from sites like MSE/TGT they must have got to be forced into this kind of "rogue" behaviour.
They are a fairly reliable outfit here in Germany so this was an "exception" for sure and not the rule.
The only good thing is that it only needs to bonus ban the UK everywhere and sites like MSE/TGT (with at least 90% of the traffic coming from the UK) wouldn't f**k up the sportsbook bonuses for the rest of the world - and what it looks like this process seems to start right now...
This is the inevitable consequence of the tell everyone about it & spoonfed them attitude and something that will be considered a "normal" behaviour in a future not too far away...

That is their look out. If they dont want people to take up the offer/promotion dont offer it then, nobody made them.

No.
They would have been "forced" to stop offering the bonus, and that is just fine they can end a promotion anytime they want. They must pay out everything up to that point though. That is the difference and why they are in the wrong here. They should honour all existing account balances and bets made to date, that is the standard thing to do and any site that doesnt should be blacklisted and in my opinion stopped from trading because it is just theft.
Stop offering the bonus is fine and closing accounts is fine, both is their decision, but all existing balances and wagers should be honoured and paid first.

Pretty irrelevant.

You may have a point.
Have a plan and stick to it

My point is: How much of "financial pressure" there must have been tu turn a sound & well established sportsbook into a "thief".
They're well aware that they put their reputation at risk with their rogue behaviour but it seems that their losses were so high that they consider it a better option than paying off their customers.

Being friendly and helping others make a few £££ is a good thing.
I'm pretty sure most people didn't independently stumble into matched betting without some kind of help and or encouragement, whether it be from places like TGT or MSE, or from a friend.

For a small to midsized book, or a larger one under financial pressure: not much. The hit on reputation is temporary.
More and more, bonus-hunter forums that lead to huge influxes of new users are counter-productive for this reason. Like a pyramid scheme, those late on will get screwed.

I signed up at the beginning of the month, have met the wagering conditions plus a fair bit more. Sent ID yesterday and got an email today to confirm they received. Requested a payout for some of my balance but not all, no sign of bonus being removed yet.
Will update what happens.

How big is this bookie in Germany? Do they have high street shops in the same way as big bookies like Corals, William Hill, Ladbrokes, Paddy Power, etc do in the UK? And if not is this an outfit that was conceived on the Internet recently.

Clearly the administrators of this business are not good enough. They lack the experience and the business nous get things right. They should close the business and do something else. Perhaps become teachers since 'those who can't do teach'. And recently we been hearing about the "financial pressure" of the banking industry: I guess idiots are there in all walks of life.

LOL What is "bad traffic"? People who sign up to a company and follow their terms and conditions? That is "bad traffic"? If they had any brains at all, they wouldn't be offering a bonus that they cannot afford, period. The internet is a global industry now, you can't post offers and meekly hope that only people you want will come along and take you up on your offer.

They obviously gave very little thought to their internet bonus, it was completely unsustainable and foolish.

That is one possibility for sure. Ban all countries except the ones you want to join as customers.
Or, you could offer sustainable bonuses and let everyone join. This would not only increase your customer base, but also your turnover. If the books are balanced properly, this can only lead to more profits. But hey, that would the smart and more difficult thing to do...

I tried to withdrawal 75 euros as I had 175 left in there. I wasnt fussed about the losing the 'bonus' 100. However they have now cancelled this withdrawal, removed their 100 euros and now state that I am at -25 euros away from being able to withdraw?
So in effect theyve taken there bonus away from my cash twice.
Thats just theft isnt it????
I believe in karma and the big hairy hand of fate will give them payback!
