As far as I know, no you can't use it to browse the chatbox. I used to be able to use it just in safari OK on my ipod, does it not work in your mobile browser?

I'll have a look at chat. My phones not great at sizing screens and Tapatalk seems to work well.

I think it is my vodaphone content control that is causing the problem. Cant switch it off because its my work phone. Never mind!!
