I was just looking for some advise landprofits there seems to be lots of different options you can get on the site.I mean do i need the cd am i better off getting roboform pro is roboform on the go really needed, that type of thing.
I dont really understand how the program works. You mention goodsync is that worth it,you have roboform to go am i better off just getting that.
I suppose a better way of putting it would be if you were advising someone to get roboform what would you suggest they get.

Hello Rog,
Someone will correct me if any of my summation is wrong but once Roboform is installed then your browser will have a Roboform toolbar. Every time you log into a site, you'll be able to choose to save the log-in into Roboform so it can remember it for future. So let's say you've just installed it and you go to Betfair. You type in your username and password on Betfair's site, click to log in on Betfair and Roboform will ask if you want to remember that log in. You do and you tell it to save as 'Betfair'. It then saves it remembering the site it needs to go to, the username and the password.
The next time you want to log into Betfair, you click on 'logins' from the Roboform toolbar and click on 'Betfair'. It automatically logs into Betfair for you. Simple! So for a serious bettor who needs to open sites quickly, once you're using it (or a program similar), you'll likely wonder how you managed with all the laborious manual logins.
Of course there are other features such as form filling (so you don't have to manually form fill sign-up pages and so on) but I think the major plus really is the fast logging in for me.
I have Roboform Pro (single license) so if I want to travel and bet using other computers, or I want to use another computer in the house to bet from, my license is on only one computer so I can't. This is where the Roboform2Go comes into its own as LandProfits mentioned earlier in the thread - want to bet from work, log in on another computer in your house, maybe a laptop on your travels? Then you need the stick because so long as the computer has a free USB port, you can plug in and Roboform is then ready to use on that computer.
Do you need the CD? I've no idea since I didn't get it and I'm not sure how it benefits you further. I would however plump for Roboform2Go if I was ordering again as it should mean you're more free to bet from whatever computer you want to.

I think the time is probably now because they have a sale on at the moment. Just looking at the order form now, it looks like you have to buy roboform for your pc to get roboform2go anyway.
I would definately go for 2go. If you are using that one I guess you don't really need to update the roboform passwords on your PC, as you can just use roboform2go, however if you do want to sync the information between the two, then goodsync is excellent for this, aswell as backing up things like your bet record sheets in seconds.
As music points out the main benefit is the quick login, however the form filling capabilities get sign ups done in seconds.

Oh btw the other thing I meant to mention is my advice would be to spend some money on a decent USB device and have done with it. I have had about 3 cheapos and eventually they break. This means you will have to re -install roboform etc etc, and that's hassle you don't really need. I use "Ironkey" which some might think is overkill, but search munk's posts on here he posted a good one that was more or less unbreakable.
Oh and another thing - no, you don't need the CD. Roboform are a bit sneaky, they have that box preselected on the order form but seriously......who uses CD's these days? If you needed to reinstall the programme you would just download it as you have a valid licence, so definately don't bother with the CD.

If you have a Mac (i think i've posted this elsewhere) then try 1Password. Does the same as Keeppass etc, but in a nice Mac-friendly way!
