Goldvictory - International arrest warrant issued against Dimitros Drosos

No surprises here really, but for anyone interested in the Goldvictory case against Dimitros Drosos (who we are told is very ill....... whether you believe it or not is another matter). Here is the reply I got today from the Assistant Registrar at the Maltese Criminal Courts.

In reply to your query regarding the Dimitros Drosos case I would like to inform you that the accused was given permission, on a humanitarian basis, to leave Malta for medical treatment abroad but unfortunately has not come back and therefore the case for the moment cannot be heard.

Everything possible is being done to track down the accused and an International Arrest Warrant has been issued in his name.

The next sitting is scheduled to be heard on the 06/05/2010 when, I assume, the prosecuting officer will inform the Magistrate of any developments.

Should you need further clarification I would recommend you get in touch with the prosecuting officer, Inspector Ivan Cilia whose email address is ivan.a.cilia@gov.mt.

Also for your info, besides the money he stole as Goldvictory, he was also operating a scam pyramide invasting company in Greece and owes people a lot of millions!
