A new starters findings after 3 weeks....
I thought i'd pop a quick post up to put my findings after my first 3 weeks of match betting and little guide list for anyone just starting out.
The following bookies are the ones Ive done in order and a little feedback on each one.
Sites signed upto:
Sky £30 nice and easy
Stan J £25 nice and easy
Will Hill £25 nice and easy
Bwin £30 wanted ID and took 6 days to withdraw winnings
Bet Clic £30 no problems
Jaxx £25 error with payments on card but excellent c/service (they actually gave me 2 x £25 bets as appology)
Vic chandler £50 - excellent / fast 100% recommended
betwy £25 no problems
unibt £20 no problems
ladbrooke £10 fast reliable
TOTESPOR £20 no problems
centrebt - £50 / no initial problems but RAF issues
boylespor £20 nice and easy
B Daq £25 no problems
eurosportb £50 no issues
I would have to say Bet770 has been by far the biggest issue. They tie down your initial stake money to wagering requirements, wont every answer the live chat. They did phopne me back but there seems lots of red tape involved gettin g anything done. Not a rogue bookie or anything just very slow a problematic.
For anyone starting out I hope the list helps with confidence knowing someone has gone down this path recently.
That looks like some good places to start.
You can also get free bets from several of those bookies if you sign up for a telephone account. From the top of my head you should be able to do Betfred, Coral and Will Hill. I don't know if any of them are doing any offers right now though.
just a few for you to try that i have done that may help you
betfred 50.00 no problem
paddy power 50.00 no problems
unibet 20.00 no problems
extra bet 20.00 no problems
bet-at-home 15.00 no problems
bet wize 10.00 no problems
bet 24 30.00 no problems
118 bet 2 weeks gone bye still no free bet but they recon i will have it soon ????
gamebookers 25.00 no problem
betchronicale 25 no problem
wbx 10.00 no problems
goalwin 25.00 no problems
victor chandler 100 no problems
i use this site to find most of the bookies its good but not always up to date
Politely keep reminding them - they are a good book and I haven't heard of anyone having major problems with them. Errors are made and chasing companies up is part and parcel of this game

Also look for a RAF for Victor Chandler as you have already done the qualifier. pm me if you want.

A bookmark stays in the book on the earliest issue that isn't completed if that makes sense.
I also have a diary where i list down offers that I need to do on a specific day, and as always I swear by the Ultimatcher for keeping records.
But yeah - definately proceed, turnover is king.
just woke up to find a 25.00 free bet sitting in my 188bet account.looks like they came good just took them a little while.
thank you for all the good advice folks much appreciated
thanks for this list and the few extra tips. Just starting and welcome all the advice given.
Thanks for this! Rather than start a new thread I thought I'd add my first week here too!
I already had a betfair account so I've joined through the bookmaker list Moneybookers, Betfred, VC Bet and BET24.
My strategy for this is similar to my taste in women, quick and easy! The plan is not to hunt and hunt for that extra point arb (I know all the lingo!) and to take anything within 0.05.
I do not intend to be a matched Better for life and do all the complicated offers, I want a quick hit, and I'm told if I hit 30/40 bookies that are relatively straightforward, I should make myself a Bag and half of Sand! Thats my aim.........unless I become addicted of course!
All three offers above are now work in progress and I have lost my qualifiers from Freddy and Victor(y) into betfair for a couple of quid loss. BET24 I won and I've gone in again today!
The problem I have found straight away is my £200 starting budget is now tied up with some going into Betfair and some now sitting in Bet24. No rush though..........
