I have posted in the security token session problem but just wanted noted here for anybody reading that the service provided by moneybookers is really poor - I sent an e-mail and received a reply a day later on 1 January but suspected it was a generic e-mail. Did say that they would contact me but have not and have e-mailed them today for an update.
I find my chasing them to be poor service imo.

Well I did eventually get a reply to say that the token posted was defective on 3 January and to order a further one. So that I did and it arrived on 28 January and when i tried to register it the bloody thing would not let me log in.
I then e-mailed them againa only to be told that there was a problem with my account and they would contact me when this was resolved and I should wait to they contact me before I could order a token that would work!
Been a nightmare so far!
Has anyone else had a problem like this?

They have always been pretty good for me, but I know that does not help you at all. Keep us posted how it goes/is it fixed in the end?
Have a plan and stick to it

Well just to update you.
I e-mailed them for an update and they just said basically I would have to wait til they notified me until I ordered another token.
So who knows when it will be resolved!

I've just encountered a problem with their online bank transfer function. I twice attempted to upload funds with it noting as failed each time, when I then checked my online bank statement both transactions have been debited from my account. Has anyone experienced this, if so how quickly was the issue resolved ?
Thanks.

Is that the one where you have to enter your bank login details at the Skrill site/some 3rd party payment provider on behalf of Skrill? I never trusted that option myself, if your bank account is defrauded they won't pay out if they find out you provided your details to a third party (even if it's another allegedly secure site like Moneybookers). They probably wouldn't find out but I'd rather not take the risk!
But maybe you're talking about something else I don't know, there are a few different types of online bank transfer at MB aren't there. The only type I ever used was the 'manual' one that takes a long time (ie login directly to your bank's site and transfer the money from your account to Moneybooker's account using your reference). Is slow, but less error prone and more secure.
Sorry can't be of help, maybe someone else has come across the problem, let us know how it works out anyway.

It is. I'm no doubt a fool for using it, but it had proved convenient previously for relatively small sums. Anyhow, I expect a phone call tomorrow should resolve it, but one cannot help but think the worst.

Hi. I use it quite frequently and never had a problem. I did have the same issue you had a few times where the transaction fails but it appears from my Santander bank balance that the money has gone out. However, Santander take a while for the transactions to show up on the statement, so in a few days, the balance corrects itself and the money has not been debited.

Re balance correcting itself - I find that happens with debit card deposits when your payment is declined.
