Just to update on my previous posts if anyones interested . Rossenmb has not been able to assist me. I still have no information as to why MB closed my account, apart from the one e-mail they sent me which referred to Section 11 of their terms and conditions. Having read that I know I have done nothing covered in there - but how can you argue that when they wont even tell you?
Tonight I decided to give up and withdraw my money, only to find they have already taken nearly £130 from my account - again no notification or explanation.
As I said I had given up on the account, but I'm not willing to accept the theft of my money. Anybody any ideas on what I can do? Thanks.

My "fee" has now been returned. It's more than a bit disturbing that this company thinks it's acceptable to behave in such a way. Glad I'm out of there.

moneybookers vs bank transfer
Just starting to transfer a bit more money now to different bookmakers. Are people generally using moneybookers for the speed of transfer?
Looking at the payout forum it seems like you can transfer out to moneybookers within a few hours, where as I've just withdrawn to my bank acc. from betclick and it took nearly 2 days? Is this the norm?
Thanks

you should be able to withdraw from betclic to moneybookers in under 6 hours...

Yes, mainly it's speed as to why people use Moneybookers but there are multiple reasons really and they include;
deposit/withdrawal transactions with gambling firms are not shown on bank statements
your card info. is not divulged to the gaming site
VIPs get to use a second (sometimes third) Moneybookers account in another currency so people may have $ accounts and a $ bankroll to approach US-facing bookmakers with, especially where there is no £ option at the bookmaker. TGT has an exclusive promotion for non-VIPs to trial a second account for 30 days if people want to do another currency (The Gambling Times | Moneybookers accounts in two currencies)
sometimes your uploads and deposits into gaming sites when using Moneybookers can earn cashback or prizes when they (Moneybookers) run those kinds of promotions

Hi all, I have just received my first £20 into my new Moneybookers acount from a RAF scheme. If I want to transfer it to my bank account I will be charged £1-49. Is the fee based on a percentage of the transfer amount, or is it a flat fee for every transaction? If it is the latter I think I would be better off just leaving it there and withdrawing when I have a bigger balance in there. Thanks for any help.

I'm not sure if it's a flat fee, you can check on the help pages though. I'm fairly sure I got charged around that for a much larger withdrawal though so maybe it is fixed.
Withdrawal fees are refunded if you're a Moneybookers VIP, something to work towards / think about as you go on (you need to be hitting your outgoing transaction limits regularly to get VIP).

Yep it's a flat fee.
I'm a recent VIP, and I've not had withdrawal fees refunded. I've only done about 4 withdrawals, though, so nothing to worry about in itself, but the refund would be a useful thing, if it meant I could withdraw smaller amounts more frequently. Maybe I just haven't met a minimum refund threshold?
