I haven't had a loyalty statement yet. I used them heavily too and am no doubt 20 or so thousand points away from the lower tier cash gift. Will probably take that rather than waiting for an I-phone 4 as another £150k seems a long way away. Maybe not when they had the 1% cashback promotion but for €300 it's too much effort lol

Moneybookers VIP - update
Forgive me I know there is another thread about this but it has been closed.
I just wanted to let people know that I received my VIP status and I've signed up to MB only in February, and I started using my MB account extensively since last 3 weeks only.
I emailed them requesting a VIP status, in that same email I attached all documents again, told them a little bit about myself and mentioned to them that I've been doing heavy transactions (200GBP per day) and that at the rate I was doing my transactions, I would approach my limit in the following two weeks.
So within 2 days I was pleased to receive an email confirming my VIP status..
My advice for any new people wanting to get a VIP status would be, only apply when you see that you will be approaching your limit. That was the only reason I wanted to get my VIP, because I was worried about not being able to do any transactions. Most new people will probably share the same concern...
It would be also good to get a VIP account for the added security and also to reduce risks from MB to put hold on your accounts for verification. I would be curious to know if any of you VIP'ers have had your account locked and asked to provide documents again, which is what happens to non-VIP accounts from time to time.
Yes, you do have to be pro-active in trying to get VIP status (or just upping limits) otherwise you can find you've used up your limit and are waiting a day or two for them to respond to your request.
Afaik, you can get the added security (token) even as a non-VIP for a relatively small charge. That could take the worry away while using the account as a non-VIP.
As for your question, then I've read of locked and closed VIP accounts. Ultimately VIPs are still signed up to t&cs and their transactions are open to whatever the scrutiny is required by the financial laws which Moneybookers have a duty to comply with.
As I've not had my account locked, I'm not sure of any reasons it would get locked as a non-VIP but not as a VIP... in my experience, the kinds of alterations one may make to the account and which they ask you to provide ID are asked for whether you're a VIP or not. That said, being a VIP does seem to get quicker responses in my experience and thus should you get locked, hopefully it won't be for two days or something!
Unfortunately, VIP status does not mean they might not ask for further proof of ID, or not lock / close your account. You just have a better chance to get any problems sorted because you have a phone number with reasonably knowledgeable and cooperative people at the other end.

Now I have had a verification letter to my home and have uploaded some funds to it directly from my bank. Its the 'how I pay bookies' and 'how they pay me' Im confused with. Say I want to deposit to WH. Is it just a case of I give them my email address in the box and an amount to deposit? I presume a withdrawal is the same way?
And when your ready to take any back to your bank theres a 1.80 fee.
Cheers, I realise this is a newbie question so apologies in advance.
If you are a vip fees are free.

joys of not having paypal either...
Basicly yes you log in at WillHill and go to deposit and select Moneybookers, you then enter your Moneybookers E-mail address and the amount and your WillHill password and submit it. A new pop up window will open which will be the Moneybookers log in screen, here enter your Moneybookers E-mail (already filled in usually), your Moneybookers password and the verification number. Submit that, chose to have funds leave your moneybookers account and submit.

Yes but you should not really do that often just let the moneybookers money swish about and only take out profits back to your bank when you really have to. Thats what I do anyway. Also it is sometimes possible you lose it from a Moneybookers deposited balance and win it somewhere you used your card and so it is withdrawn to card that way.

Have a plan and stick to it
I'll give it a go...
At the mo I keep a float of 1k in the bank ready to use and everytime I get a couple of hundred extra profit I slap it off the mortgage :-)
