I've now spent a couple of hours experimenting with Chrome, installing similar (and better) extensions as my Firefox setup, and I think I might be a convert.

For a start, I had about 18 tabs open with different bookies and Chrome handled it without any issues. If I try and do this in Firefox, it just gets slower and slower until it crashes or becomes unusable.

ChromeReload has the advantage of a countdown timer so you can immediately see when going to a page how close it is to refreshing and disable with 2 clicks if necessary.

FreshStart is a pretty good session saver, and TooManyTabs is pretty cool too.

I also managed to get AdBlock and FlashBlock to stop nasty scripts, exactly the same as with Firefox.

My only whinge is that I can't seem to disable the autofill; whenever I start to enter a username it automatically shows my previous entry.

On the whole though, I'm pretty impressed. Change is bad, but Chrome eases the pain.
