Just an update. Got the amount refunded today. 3 things:

1) No email. I had to find out myself from looking in history.
2) No apology.
3) Nevermind even a freebet for causing me grief.

It was not a small amount taken either - £75.

So glad I use Smarkets pretty much all the time these days.
