Bwin - Horse Racing Warning
Be careful when backing and laying horses. I recently backed and layed a horse and ended up £70 out of pocket. The problem was that a horse had been withdrawn before I placed my bet and they hadn't updated their odds to reflect this. In this situatation other bookies would introduce a Rule 4 deduction. Not Bwin. They simply cancel your bet and let you know by email 2 hours after the race has finished. Sods law the horse won so I was down on the lay side of the bet.

I wrote to ask what happens if I bet and then a horse is withdrawn after I have placed my bet. They replied: "if there is a non runner in the race then all bets are cancelled."
So although you may have bet after a withdrawal, it appears from what I was told that bets are void if withdrawals come after you've bet too.
If this is the case, Bwin horse racing seems pretty useless since you can't match off safely and can't really punt either for fear of withdrawals voiding your bet?!

Crikey, I came on here to post a different scenario and the nr warning scared the poo out of me.
My tale is slightly different. Backed Fair Spin today in the 2.10 @ Hexham , thought it got beat in a close photo. Sadly my account at Bwin shows it has a loser, even till now .
I`ll wait till tomorrow and if it`s not rejigged then , I`ll get in touch.
They might pay it out as a clear winner
